this didn't take long did it? Shamima Begum categorically refused to send her son to the UK, so what if anything could Sajid Javid do about that

It's not exactly the responsibility of the government or the authorities, however some of the uncaring and flippant comments about the death of a baby are horrendous. There's a clear undertone of "who cares, it was just a terrorist baby" and to be blunt that's pretty ****ing disgusting.

I think most people have expressed sadness at the babys death? I can't accept that a mother who lost two previous children and is living in the conditions she is wouldn't fight to give him a better life though, if she had asked for her baby to be taken back to her family I think it would have softened peoples stance against her as well, she put herself before her baby and that to me is unacceptable

"Oh well that's sad but...". It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
As for the rest of it Cherie I feel like I have to be totally blunt and say that I don't think the girl is exactly the sharpest tool in the box. In fact I think she seems to be of significantly below average intelligence and that's why she was taken in by ISIS, that's why her babies have died, that's why she's made an arse of her appeal to get back to the UK.
Its also why I highly doubt she's a risk to anyone other than herself. The idea that she's a calculating, charismatic ISIS recruiter in waiting is frankly ridiculous. She could probably be deprogrammed from ISIS and indoctrinated into Scientology with a 3 hour speech and a short pamphlet.

and your's is token disgust is it not, its not like you have done anything about it, have you organised a petition? or marched on Downing Street, at least Im honest in that no, I don't particularly care abut her, yes its tragic that her baby died but just the same as the 15 year old lad who knifed someone to death in Kensington this week is responsible for his actions so is 15 year old Shamima Begum , and yes I have previously stated she doesn't come across as being particularly intelligent but she has a lawyer advising her? and as for getting her baby even if she did agree to let him go to the UK, its not like we can send an Uber to pick him up  Sorry but I won't be guilt tripped into taking on the worlds woes, we also have to take some individual responsibility for ourselves and our actions.

But she wasn't the world's problem. She's from the UK.

Why should we show concern for a woman who wants us dead?
