R.I.P. Suicide I suspect, again for LI. When will this show start giving proper care to it's contestants? I know he was on it years ago but fame can affect people like that. I know we all slaughtered BB for the kind of people they let in and joked about 'psych' tests but at least there's no cases of suicide from it.

Tbh I don't think we can assume he committed suicide (if he even did in the first place) just because of his stint on the show or because viewers speculated that he bedded Jess two years ago...

Who knows what else must've gone in his personal life behind closed doors, the article also mentions that his best friend passed away a few months back.

Matthew.

David Bowie’s name isn’t David Bowie but they used that when he died

The point is, the name “Muggy Mike” came around as an insult/jokey nickname for Mike and eventually it just stuck. However, as it was created with an insulting-type intention behind it, it’s a little disrespectful for the Daily Mail to refer to him as solely that in a headline reporting his death.

Dan Wooon has said he spoke to Mike on Thursday, and Mike mentioned he was grieving the loss of his nan who he'd become full time carer to having moved in and looked after her, and she recently died aged 94.

Add this to the loss of his best friend at Christmas, the lack of LI aftercare, the public breakup with Megan. It's a lot on his shoulders bless him.

This is terrible.

I know we shouldn't speculate, but it looks fairly likely it he took his own life. His good friend dies a few months back and his Nan who he moved in with to care with died a few days ago. Add that with constant social media abuse he gets after being built up as a "villain"... But of course can't be sure.

People may say "he had everything going for him", that's the thing about depression, it affects anyone.

We saw this thing when Sophie died and her boyfriend committed suicide a few weeks later. It's just awful.

Guess we will find out more soon.

Actually, comments like this are dangerous.

For the suicidal person, dying feels and seems like the only way. Rationally it isn't. Affirming the belief they're better off dead is a dangerous attitude Adam.

Yup, you need to think about what you're gonna say on issues like this, Adam. You never know if the people you're speaking to are suffering from suicidal thoughts and hearing that 'sometimes suicide is the only way out' can lead to catastrophic outcomes. Suicide isn't a way out and it shouldn't be romanticised as such.

I also think social media plays a massive role in this as well.

Someone leaving the BB house ten years ago was only really coming out to a few headlines in Heat Magazine. Now, these Islanders are coming out to viewers trolling them and digging up dirt to try and ruin their lives on Twitter. And they rely on Instagram to make money and stay relevant that I can imagine it must be overwhelming and hard to get away from it all.
