Hold on to your personalized water bottles and book your spray tans, because we’re about to get front row daily seats to the reality TV gift that keeps on giving. The hugely popular British dating show Love Island is landing in Canada this summer, exclusively landing at CTV. That’s right, all summer long we’ll get to root for bathing suit-clad singles as they try to navigate dating in a fishbowl and fight amongst themselves to form alliances and couple up multiple nights a week.

I think this is huge. We have 3 major channels in Canada and CTV is one of them. BBUK never made it here to mainstream TV.

Wait does this just mean they're airing the UK one in Canada or are they actually making their own?

Just the UK one airing in Canada... but we get none of your reality TV shows here... it's a huge scoop for Love Island imo

I'm mistaken... it's not on a major channel... and it doesn't air where I live. This is why I didn't know about it.

Love Island is though!!

Oh that's good to hear, i thought it was your first time watching it.

How would you rank all 4 series? And have you seen the Australian version?

Yeah... I've watched all the Australian ones too lol

I'm not much for ranking shows or series. I see most things in life as stand alone experiences that have their good and bad points to them. You won't see me involved in to many ranking scenarios on here... and even when I do i usually change my perspective later anyways.

I hope it airs in the winter and with everyone forced to be outsiede in their winter clothes when it's freezing cold.

Finland has a version of Love Island. And also versions of Paradise hotel and Temptation Island as well.
