...it’s one of those series though../..those types of characters that has you laughing out loud one moment and then holding onto your heart in the next moment...and the OMG moments just keep on coming and coming...

...I think it’s only around 8 or so episodes...a nice quick one to cleanse the palette after GoT...

I think I'm on episode 6. I really like it. I believe it's produced by Will Ferrell/Adam MacKay as well and there's that whole circle of Apatow-isms in the writing that stick out at times.

It does stretch the imagination a little too liberally at times (I would've shot someone if that balloon that came flying back down had Judy's confession in it :joker:) but I think the two leads are played strongly enough to gloss over some of the show's flaws.

When I was watching I thought

Perez was gonna get killed bc she wouldn’t let her get away with it, then when they were in the car I was like omg car crash incoming and then when she said about her own mum I said to my bf oh she’s gonna fookin let her off here! And she did

what was the actual evidence Judy handed over? like, the chief was involved in the money laundering I assume?

The Chief was part of the Greek mafia or whatever.

Originally when Steve went missing and they thought he'd just ran off because of the money laundering, the police woman said he is small fry, if he just hands himself in he can get a deal to help them catch the bigger members of the Mafia.

The evidence was the burner phone with numbers including the Chiefs and I think a voice recorder with his voice on it as evidence.

Can I just say I burst out laughing when Perez walked through the door at the end of episode 6.

Watched all of this in one day a few days ago. It was fantastic from start to finish, with so many twists and turns throughout the show, I couldn’t stop watching :laugh: I really hope this gets a 3rd season. Would 100% recommend
