I feel Xhaka has reacted so badly to this situation I don’t think he should remain as captain. It’s disrespectful to the fans that pay all that money to watch the team play, if they are unhappy with how the team or a specific player is performing, then they have a right to voice their frustrations.

Xhaka had an ok game today but I think the boos were more to do with the fact that since he’s been at Arsenal he hasn’t really proved himself to be worthy of that captains badge and Emery’s really poor judgement and tactics.

We actually played OK for large sections of the game and Ozil was good again.

Apparently the reason why Torreira is playing as our most advanced mid fielders is to start the 'press'. You know when I said Emery was clueless I didnt expect him to keep giving such good examples. Torreira is our best defensive mid, even though he never plays there, the team is conceding alot of goal, we always concede when he's taken off so Emery has him playing just to tackle and win the ball back high up the field. I rest my case. I'd take Mourinho in a heart beat.

They were allowed to actually try and give a concussion to poor Jutkiewicz last season. So I'm not surprised that they can get away with a more mild offence in comparison.

And to change the topic for a second, do you think that Son's red card should be recinded? I feel torn as it clearly wasn't Son's intention to hurt the player, but ultimately I've seen other players do similar challenges in the past that have led to a player getting injured, and the outcome has always been a red card.

Pretty sure 97 points isn't really bottling it, considering only 1 team has ever got a higher points tally. All the great teams in the history of the league and all it took was a bunch of plucky underdogs funded by a nation state on the backs of slaves to spend more money than god has.

Actually its not. The job of a coach so often is simply to make the players better. There is only one Championship and only one team can win it so you are displaying a somewhat simplistic view. I watched the first half of United and there was a bit of buffering .. I also tried ChromeCasting but it froze after a few minutes each time I tried .


8:15 switched to watching the delayed Liverpool game .. decent quality on IPad and I daren’t try casting as there seemed to be a goal every 5 minutes :)

To put into perspective that period at the start of the 2nd half is easily the best I've seen us play all season in the league. SO what does Freddie do, take off an attacker for another. I still ask why no one has played Pep, Auba, Lacazette and Ozil together at the same time. Its not like we're keeping it tight at the back; we're giving up two goals a game. The defence is hopeless so I think our only tactic from now on should be to score one more than the opposition; no more complicated that that. He can also play as the left sided forward position as Iniesta used to do for us occasionally
