Possibly the most divisive Islander they've ever had on this show. Everyone seems to have an opinion on her, so I'm interested to see what's the consensus on this phenomenal Islander.
I personally love her. She's my all time favourite Islander.

...I think she can be a bit of a ‘mean girl’ at times...but it’s almost in a movie character/type way...like when she was imitating Francesca in her gestures and poses..?...:laugh:...she’s very funny as a person...and in balance she also has lots of lovely and sweet things about her as well, she seems a very caring person with those she cares about...SHE JUST NEeDS TO GET HER GUY IS ALL..!!!...but yeah, all in all...I really like her quite a lot...:love:..

I did like Maura when she first came in, but as time has gone on I have seen some not very nice traits in her, so no Im not keen but never hate anyone in these shows , its a strong word and should only be used on those that really deserve it.So I voted dislike.

Ive put mixed...because she has been a brilliant islander as far as 'playing the game'. She has stirred things up and given us great entertainment.
However..she does have a bitchy side...and she has come across a little desperate to couple up to the point she will have anyone who is available...but having said that I don't think she takes herself too seriously...I think the bitchy comments are a bit tongue in cheek and the drama is all for effect.
Having said that this series will be remembered because of her.

i can't say love, but i agree with others she's made for reality tv and i can see her being asked to do more reality tv after this i'm a celeb for example, perhaps following into footsteps of Dani too and joining the Friday panel once for strictly it takes two :think:

Taptalk wont let me participate in polls but im a firm dislike. She is too full of herself and she creates drama where there is none to deflect from her own morally bankrupt behavior and she does it at the expense of others. As kaz said i dont hate any of them but i also dont have any respect for the game she is playing. The only female islander's game i respect less is Anna.

Are you watching the SAME SHOW as the rest of us cos she is certainly not full of herself I havent seen her PREENING herself like all the other girls. She hasnt upset anyone and even when she fancied Tommy and he went back to Molly she has now befriended Molly and they are close. She is loved by all the others and is a totally unique and lovely girl even if she can be a bit crass at times. Its all just banter

Love Maura, when she was making faces and imitating the Francescas hair toss,i could identify, she just comes across as wearing her heart on her sleeve and being flawed and real not some cutsey playing to the gallery fake....

Oh yes i know i have an unpopular opinion and i dont pretend mine is superior to anyone elses. Its just my opinion. I share it to offer you and others an alternate perspective to consider. It wouldnt be much if everyone agreed about everything.

I think she’s great and fab TV but she’s definitely overrated by the masses which I think lowers my opinion of her.

...I guess can understand why you would see Maura the way that you do...but I think for me, the first ‘telling’ thing was when Tom made his ‘money where her mouth is comment’...and she was so upset about that...?...that she’s someone who ‘adopts’ a confidence that she doesn’t seem to feel...it’s also been that in other comments she’s made...like how she imitated Francesca and her ‘poses’..to me, felt as though she just doesn’t feel that she can measure up to Francesca in some ways...?...she has such a vulnerability about her which I love..:lovedup:...while also having such a strong character and humour to entertain...she’s kind of the perfect reality TV package in a beautiful covering for me...:laugh:...

I like Maura in as much as she has made great TV. Like Ammi, I don't think she is anywhere as strong and confident as she makes out or likes to think she is. She has a front and knows how to put up defences to mask her insecurities. She's a lot of fun too

Trouble I enjoy reading your posts on here and you are very liked on here. There is lots that I agree or disagree on what you say but like Rusticgal said the whole point of a forum is talking about our opinions and sharing different view points and most of the time we are never all going to agree on the same thing.
