Out of interest what do you think made her so unpopular?

I quite liked her at first but her immaturity for a 28 year old woman and her childish rants and aggressive attitude put me right off her.

It’s the first thread I’ve made...just asking a simple question. Support her by all means...but ‘her impact’ if she had one is open to question. I’m not obsessed as you put it...just asking a question. Her impact as I see it was negative and I’m just asking opinion as to why.

...I don’t know, it’s really hard to say specifically as I do like her...but I do think in general that females/female behaviour when scrutinised in things like reality TV...is often held up to a different standard than males, sadly...when they went to the second villa and Anna chose Ovie..?...Jordan had also spent his first night with one of the new girls...keeping himself open for the possibility of meeting someone new...really the only difference was that Anna found a connection with Ovie and Jordan didn’t find one stronger than he had with Anna...(...or maybe he had calculated that staying with Anna would be a better strategic option, who knows...)...anyways Anna was heavily criticised but Jordan wasn’t, which is quite bazaar to me...

...and obviously with recent events..it’s apparent that Jordan has been completely disingenuous...which means he’s not only fooled Anna and his fellow islanders...he’s fooled us all as well...and yet, so many public critical faces toward Anna because his deception caused understandable disbelief in her, which would obviously project as anger....it feels like there’s a rigid handbook of ‘how a female is expected to behave/react etc’...but a different handbook for males of ‘okay he did ********** but she needs to get over it now for goodness sake’...
...anyways I’m glad Anna didn’t read the handbook...she reacted to something which shook her Love Island world in finding out what she thought was real, was a lie...

I liked her to begin with, then went off her with the Danny thing which came across as very immature and playgroundish. Then I liked her again, and I thought she and Jordan were a good couple. i thought her reaction to Jordans behaviour with India was justified, it came so out of left field :laugh:

I liked her at the start ,then saw how she was with other Islanders that the other girls deemed had done something terrible ,lol, she was immature , swore like a trooper and was a hypocrite, she couldn't keep her nose out of others peoples business as to her aggression and repeating things over and over is not something endearing imo.

I liked her at the beginning, she's a curvy and proud gorgeous girl.
But her behaviour with Danny put me off. It came off as school playground stuff.
Also, dumping Jordan for Ovie, then trying to blame Ovie when she went back to Jordan.
Finally the latest argument, she lost that one with whr aggressive behaviour.

I think people do admire women that stick up for themselves...I just think its the way a woman deals with it. I think Anna became an ugly person when she had an issue with someone...there are ways of dealing with it. Even though someone is right to be angry, if you react badly your point gets overridden.
Also she showed a lot of hypocrisy...especially her disgust at Michael when he recoupled after Casa Amor...when she had done exactly the same thing.

Amber dealt with the Michael situation with her dignity in tact...had Anna done the same she might have been more liked. However we are all different.

If you're referring to her being out, it's probably because of the amount of competition she had. She was a huge character of this series but was still largely overshadowed by others in the editing of the show every now and again

I for one adored her. She was pretty righteous in 90% of what she did and said in the villa and was one of the most entertaining!

I liked her to begin with but she had a very immature side to her that we saw early on when Michael was on the date and they was shouting stuff down from the balcony. This is when my opinion of her began to change and it just got worse every time she was in some sort of argument as the series went on. She also has a big attitude problem, the way she speaks to people sometimes, if she did that in the outside world I don’t think people would just sit there and take it.

In her arguments recently I always seem to get the impression that she has to be the superior one; just talking over people to get her point across without listening to their side and not really making an attempt to work out how both can move forward.

There is one quality of hers however that I do like and that is she seems very loyal to her friends and would always back them which I have a lot of respect for. Unfortunately she just doesn’t go about these things in the right way and her points just end up getting overlooked because of it.
