And they’ll want to axe the Xmas special once there’s 2 series a year anyway right? Because that wouldn’t work :joker:

If anything it would be good promo for the January show and would help get the viewers back in the mood for Love Island.

Don’t get me wrong I’d love it to return, I just think when there’s two series a year ... how does it work?

Two Chrismas specials, one for each series? The jan series gets a summer themed special and the summer one gets the Christmas special?

Either a summer one for the winter series just before Summer LI starts or they might just not air one at all. The summer one will most likely still be the more successful version anyway, it’s solidified itself as a part of ‘British Summer culture’ for the 16-30 demographic really.
