This on a day when he number of anti-Semitic incidents in Britain rose in the first half of the year,

according to a charity on Thursday that cited

alleged anti-Semitism in the opposition Labour party as a contributing factor.

which protesters held banners comparing Israel to the Nazis.

The 2009 event, which the Labour leader spoke at, was also attended by
protesters who held banners branding the Jewish state “child killers” and
“thirsty for blood”.


Mr Corbyn was pictured near the front of the march, where one banner read:
"Gaza-21st Century Concentration Camp” and another called for a boycott of
Israel.

One placard on display at the Birmingham march read “Fascist State” – next

to an Israel flag with the Star of David turned into swastika, while another
had a star and the Nazi symbol, with “Holocost” written beside it.


Another showed leading Israeli figures next to a picture of Adolf Hitler, with the message “History repeats itself – stop the genocide”.



Senior Labour MP Dame Margaret Hodge told The Sun: “It’s appalling. You
have got to question why Jeremy chooses to spend his time with people who
have such a twisted world view and who are grossly anti-semitic.”


Labour Against Anti-Semitism said the images were "shocking" and condemned
Mr Corbyn for having "marched along with hate preachers" and being
"surrounded by visual representations of anti-Jewish racism".


A Labour party spokesman said: “Jeremy has a long and principled record of
support for Palestinian rights and human rights, and that is the right thing to
do.


“Like other politicians, he has attended many demonstrations, and is obviously
not responsible for the banners that other people bring along.”

it's a big issue when this guy could be our PM and he transfers his support of Palestinians into hate for a section of the community here. He has enabled and condoned antisemite behaviour here. People may say he just dislikes Israel. but that is no position for a leader of the western world to take either. We don't hate countries, that's not what we do. A world leader, which Corbyn could be, cannot be seen on marches that promote violence toward others while claiming to be a pacifist. Don't people see the immense hypocrisy?

Corbyn's actions have definitely impacted on the number of anti--Semitic attacks in the UK. We are told CONSTANTLY that not all Muslims are terrorists. However, I'm hoping that Corbyn and the anti-Semitic enablers with which he is surrounded, will one day learn that not all Jews are Israelis. And even if we were, we still don't deserve to be singled out and abused. And I'm glad to say he will never be elected PM because he is a Jew hater.

Well, for a start, he wanted to change the internationally recognised definition of anti-Semitism. Took Labour aaaaaages to sort that one out. They objected to not being able to criticise Israel. But that wasn't it at all.... you are allowed to criticise Israel just like you're able to criticise any other country.

What I find particularly frightening is that Labour supporters are backing him. They don't say, he's a brilliant politician, but he needs to tackle anti-Semitism. They make up all kinds of excuses for him. He wants the right to refer to Israel as a Nazi state while acting in a remarkably similar fashion to a Nazi where the Jews are concerned.

Under his leadership antisemitism has been allowed to go unchallenged.

The problem is becoming to some, not on here I hastily add, that if Israel is criticised, that is seen by some as antisemitism.
It is not always separated.

I'd agree, Corbyn is a supporter of Palestine rights.
I wish the 2 nation set up was in place, I think it should be.

However I have always been a supporter of Israel and the difficulties it must have surrounded by Nations hostile to Israel.

I could support rights for Palestine as I could equally support rallies against condemning Israel.

If placards were held up at either claiming Palestinians or Israelis were acting like Nazis.
That's those individuals choices to be so divisive and destructive as to just causes.
Neither individuals carrying such placards are worthy of support.
It doesn't however alter the overall cause of a march.

Palestinians and Israelis are very volatile to each other.

Corbyn does not help the situation any. A fully independent investigation is needed.
