Neil and Katya Jones have announced their separation in an official statement.
They celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary earlier this month, and have been together for 11 years.
The couple are not blaming the Seann Walsh incident for their split.

Why does a drunken kiss make someone such an awful person?

Whether it was drunken or not, tbh. The reaction was completely over the top. For all we know, he could be a complete monster behind closed doors and she wanted an escape for one night. That's obviously far fetched, but my point is that people judge far too quickly these days and jump to vilify for their own satisfaction.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I really don't think cheating is as immoral as people think it is. When you think about how many marriages end in divorces; life is complex and sometimes you can't help how you meet people. In an ideal world, things happen perfectly, we don't hurt each others feelings, and we all behave - but that isn't the case.

I'm sorry, cheating isn't immoral because it happens a lot and leads to lots of divorces. Hmmm.
Accepting bad things happen and we will get hurt in life... doesn't mean bad things happening aren't bad and people hurting others is ok. :joker: Strange logic.

He's better likely without her.

Agree, they were probably having issues which is why she strayed, and they couldn’t resolve them, it’s a shame for them both but they obviously tried to fix it as we are more or less a year on from that kiss, good luck to them both now

It's strange logic to jump to conclusions and judge a situation when you're essentially a spectator that doesn't even know 5% of it. If a drunken kiss can get you hung, drawn and quartered just because you're in a relationship, then I'm glad I have strange logic.

Well, I wasn't commenting on Neil and Katya, I was commenting on your post about infidelity and divorce rates.
But whatever. :idc:

Human beings are complex creatures. These societal expectations regarding monogamy and marriage are unfair. Love (though, in this context it may be a strong word) is a powerful emotional and we can't help when we feel it, even if it is at the wrong time.

Who's talking about love?
We're talking about people sticking their dicks, tongues, fingers and whatever else in other people under the excuse of "I was drunk" and hurting other people.
I simply responded that just because humans will do hurtful things, does not mean the victims of that hurt should have to put up with it.
Falling in love with someone else does not have to result in infidelity.
