2.5m (13%) for last night's launch episode. The lowest since 2017
2015: 430k
2016: 650k
2017: 1.3m
2018: 2.9m
2019: 3.3m
2020: 2.5m
So around 800k down on last year's Summer launch.
Still obviously excellent for ITV2 and there's every possibility it could grow with word of mouth. The first Winter series was always gonna take a bit of adjusting to.
Not surprising really, it was really slow to start with, didnt really get interesting until near the end

Somethings weird about it, when I watch it I feel like it should be 25 degrees outside and still daylight and everyones down the pub. I just don't really feel the vibe goes showing it at this time of year.

Heard it was 1.9m last night, down 1m on the same episode last year and the first time it went sub 2m since 2017? Don't know if that is correct.

Haven’t got much data at the moment. The last few nights have been around 1.9m-2.0m. Still excellent for ITV 2 but quite a bit down on the summer series.

RATINGS: The #LoveIsland* series 6 launch has officially averaged 4.84 MILLION viewers! Although down 1 million on S5, this is still an astounding figure for ITV2.
Here's how it compares:
2020 - 4.80m
2019 - 5.90m
2018 - 4.10m
2017 - 1.94m
2016 - 1.23m
2015 - 0.64m
People were so dramatic with the ratings, of course winter love island wouldn’t match last summer and would drop. As expected the officials will make it higher. 4.8 million is still great

That rise from 2017 to 2018 tho.

Series 4's the worst one. Unless you meant to say last year's in which I agree.

People being dramatic af! If they consider these ratings to be a disaster, I wonder how they would've reacted to series 1's. :idc:
Ratings are fine so far.

The savebbuk twitter fans were bragging about it not being high like 5 and forgetting about the officials because that adds loads. Launch and week 1’s average all beat love island 1,2,3 and 4 so it’s still getting great ratings. Silly clowns.

Why do certain BB fans want to blame LI for the axe? The show had been in decline for more than a decade!
Great officials and humungous numbers for ITV 2.
