You go 48 hours without any sleep have a stress of caring for two toddlers at the same time your wife having a traumatic operation seeing her lose 3 litres of blood squirting out in front of your face. Then have your son taken into an incubator fighting for his life not getting to see him and still not being with him now despite him being 2 days old and have someone telling you his name is horrible and not act out. I was extremely shattered and shouldnt have been on the forum last night.

I feel like it’s my natural time to leave and let someone else who would enjoy judging the show more take my place, the show is in such an amazing place right now, Amy Jade has been a phenomenal addition to the panel, and the judging panel is brilliant, which is why I don’t want to stick around and be the weak link.

Thanks Jake for having me, you’ve been a fantastic host and thanks Adam for sitting next to me for 4 seasons as the only other original judge, and thanks to all the contestants who have brightened up and been a pleasure to judge over the years, even if they send in Ricky Martin routines all the time.

I have an announcement to make.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and creative differencesI have taken the easy decision to step down as head judge and end my ties with the game.

It's been a somewhat mostly enjoyable job and I've adored working next to Mitchell for the complete duration and working with others on the panel but all good things have to come to an end and this decision has been on my mind for a while now as this series just didnt feel right.

I'd like to say goodluck to the contestant and for now Leep dancing.

The time has come for a new challenge and new experiences and I cant wait to work with Mitchell again in the future which I'm sure we will and to some of the other judges I highly respect but now is the right time to end my journey.

As a contestant I'm enjoying it, and I wholeheartedly appreciate the effort jake and all the judges have put in up to this point..

I wish Morgan and Mitchell well, but wish they could re think thier decisions but fully appreciate thier decisions and past efforts..

Amy Jade: Beautifully intense way to open the show, you paired everything together very well. I wasn't sure if this theme but if this is the level...I am excited!

Barry: First of all love the costumes, fit in well with the song (duh Barry). I also liked the song. It was good


Cherie: This was beautiful and costumes are on point


Amy Jade: Another song I am unfamiliar with and find myself surprised that it fits so well, this was sexy scary if that makes sense, I love a good theme too so nice costume picks to stick with the theme.


Tony: The song was epic, very terrifying! And the costumes really fit well with it. I thought I was in hell for a while.

Barry: What a week! I liked the song, never heard it before and the costumes were good too


Cherie: This was amazing if I could have given it 11 I would


Amy Jade: First of all, this may sound bad but I wasn't looking forward to this week but the horror geek in me is very pleased. This gave me major 80's horror soundtrack vibes. Brilliant choice and I wasn't sure it really fit but the rock edge surprised me. Well done!


Tony: Took me a while to get into the song but when I did, I enjoyed it. It matched the Argentine tango. The costumes were fire too!

Barry: Little red and the bad wolf. Great choice. Having meat loaf on rock week is needed here, mostly for the horror themed too. I enjoyed it


Cherie: Love a bit of meatloaf, maybe a bit safe for this point of the competition but still a great job, costumes bring it back


Amy Jade: Just love the concept, you clearly put some thought into this weeks theme and I appreciate it. I will say this was probably my least favourite though, still really good but everything else has shook me so this felt slightly less edgy.


Tony: Neither the song nor the costumes did anything for me. Very disappointed.

Amy Jade: I actually had this written down as one song I would pick this week as a Jive! I could just imagine a beautifully high energy dance with smoke rolling on the floor as you slide across the dance floor. Escapism is just what we need at the moment so thank you.

Cherie: Closing the show, the standard has been so high but you killed it


Amy Jade: On paper this works, it definitely feels like it fits the dance and so you did well. However, I just found it fit yet never really excited me or gave me a vision of what it would be put into action. The costume is a bit of a miss for me too, an evil vampire queen and athe bloke off Twilight? idgi sorry.
