Tomorrow they go
Early at 6AM
[More than 170 MPs have urged
the PM to halt plans to deport 50 people
to Jamaica on Tuesday until a review
into the Windrush scandal is published.
Their call comes after a leaked draft
of the report said the government
should consider ending the deportation
of foreign-born offenders who came
to the UK as children.
Tuesday's flight is expected to
include a man who moved
to the UK aged five.]
[The PM has said it is right that
foreign-born offenders are deported.
Boris Johnson told MPs last week:
"I think the whole House will
understand that the people
of this country will think it right to send
back foreign national offenders."]

The Flight has Gone.
But the Home Secretary said (on SkyNewsHD breakfast)
only around 20 on the flight.
So the men that did not go
must be the one's the Labour MP's are fighting over.

around 20.
Guilty of Murder and other bad offences
...regardless of their offence, they have been here since childhood...?..’criminal offence’ is not a place of birth in any way, their environmental characteristics were part of their moulding...the thought processes are ridiculous...

No you can not ignore
Rape
and Murder
...no one is ignoring rape and murder...that rape and murder was committed by people who have lived in this country since being small children...there is no reasoning to deporting those offenders...
i can't get upset over criminals being deported, there are far worse things going on in the world

The Home Office has previously said the flight was "specifically for removing foreign criminals" and it included "people convicted of manslaughter, rape, violent crime and dealing Class A drugs". Number 10 has said all the people on the flight have sentences of 12 months or more.

Campaigners have accused the Home Office of inhumane treatment of Jamaicans granted a last-minute reprieve from deportation, as details of a controversial charter flight emerged.
At least 25 people set to be flown to Kingston on Tuesday morning had their removal halted by judges hours earlier because they had been denied access to legal help.
The Independent understands that around 20 of these men were told they would not be on the flight, only to be driven from their detention centres near Heathrow to Yorkshire in the middle of the night – with no details about where they were going.
In one case, a disabled man said he was left suffering “excruciating pain” after being forced to sit on a coach for 11 hours while he was driven to Doncaster airport despite having been told his removal was not going ahead.
Campaigners said that the treatment, in the wake of the Windrush scandal, was “callous and cruel”.
The disabled man, 56, who didn’t want to be named, said he was taken from his disability cell in Harmondsworth removal centre at around 9pm on Monday and had to wait for around three hours before the vehicle left.
“I had been feeling a lot of pain in my back and legs even before, and then it intensified. [The officers] gave me two pillows because that’s all they could find,” he said
“I was in so much pain. I kept complaining and telling them this was inhumane. I was really distraught, seriously distressed.”

LBC reported these were criminals, I think we have enough of our own ,if this is the case,I need to follow up on this story to get the full picture.it was said some mobile signals were down but they did have access to a landline, so some grey areas here
they were taken off the flight on a pure technicality, the availability of the O2 network in the areas they were detained. Completely clutching at straws. For them to claim cruelty now is laughable given all their criminal histories

I thought prison was penance? If you were a criminal once you have served your sentence you are no longer a criminal.
Unless these people are going before prison there are no grounds to send them is there?
There may be some that are or have been criminals, I have read of those who are not, they just don't have the money to fight the home office.

Criminals or not the whole thing is messed up, and we all saw how the windrush people were treated who had been living in the UK for most of their life.

From what i read one had committed a robbery when he was like 18 but turned his life around and had a family but was due to be deported 10 years later.
if we punish criminals for trying to change then what is the point in the whole system? it is meant to stop re offending but those who dont re-offend are punished

I think the criminal element is being played up to get the majority of the public on board with this. Otherwise there literally would be an outcry if you were deporting people for just being brought here as children.
How were these kids not naturalised, I don't understand how they are not British citizens?

If someone's served their time and they haven't re-offended then it seems counter productive to judge them by their past. What's the point of rehabilitation if a bunch of armchair warriors with justice hardons and a latent bloodlust will damn you just for the pleasure of being cruel to someone they think 'deserves' it?

There's alot of hypocrisy & double standards, I've heard of other cases where people have committed horrible crimes yet DON'T get deported. Some even get sympathy  .
This country is messed up especially now with fat kid bojo in charge , all I seem to hear is people who have been rehabilitated and people who have worked hard those are the ones being deported or threatened with that .

It's deport people or pay them a pension. If these people can be got rid of legally and save money that's what will be done. They've worked and are of no use now so suddenly they have no tight to remain.

Yep; and since they WON'T be paying them a pension, if those individuals have paid any National Insurance contributions they should surely be refunded as soon as they're deported? Of course they won't be though.

No don't be daft of course not , funny isn't it though when it comes to taking their tax and NI they were all legal and above board. .. Otherwise HMRC wouldn't have been able to collect without the magic NI number, so what's happened? :/
We took corona prisoner back from thialand...That's one I've heard off..I imagine there are others who have spent many years abroad that we now have back.
