In the beauty of the ocean and the glistening of the sea
How very very special they always were to me
The islanders and love stories I followed till the end
And by the time we finished I called them all a friend
I guess like Cinderella all I wanted was a chance
To find the perfect fella and have a true romance
I partied with my special friends I really loved them all
I know they are so very sad and that their tears will fall
I smiled sometimes through sadness I smiled sometimes through joy
And now I smile beyond the stars even though I know you'll cry
I didn't want to leave you but I knew it was the end
So be kind to one another my family and my friends
And when the sun shines high above or you see the glistening stars
Remember me with all your love no matter where you are

This is a tribute poem I wrote to Caroline Flack whom I never met but always admired and loved in every programme she was part of xxx

That was a lovely poem Rionablue, very heartfelt and touching words. It’s such a tragedy that she is no longer here, I still find it all so surreal. I think she is someone a lot of us will remember and cherish for a very long time. Thank you for sharing that poem

Its a lovely poem

Still cannot believe the news. Just a moment of pain can take you down. I wish she had just waited and allowed the darkness to pass, cause literally anything would have been a better option than losing her life altogether
