According to The Sun they are close to signing 2 A-List stars they have been chasing for years.
One is obviously Alan Carr as he said he has been asked every year

Plus his best mate is Adele who they will hope for cameos from
This is coming from the same show that tried to convince us that Saffron Barker, Karim Zeroual and the Viscountess of Weymouth were famous, so... we'll see

I’d say not A List, but maybe some people like Rick Astley and Michelle Keegan

Well known =/= A-list
I'm sure Phil Mitchell is very well known to most people, doesn't make the actor who plays him A-list.

But that's obviously how you should take it, because if we are using the actually sense of A Kist then we are not getting any

We should take it that they mean British TV stars? Not necessarily.

They never tend to go for international celebs unless they live or work in the UK, I know that they persuaded Michelle to stay in the UK last year but she always said she would have chosen stritcly over any version.
They could potentially snap up a mega famous social media star but they would probaly have to persuade one to come over for a small fee which is unlikely and we only have a few in the UK and they have pretty much ruled it out.

Well Mel B has already done it in America, so has Emma who’s done it here. So the only options are Mel C and Geri. I could see Geri going for it but not Mel.
Watch this all be for nothing and the first two celebrities in the cast to be the stars of The A-List: New York, Austin Armacost and Mike Ruiz

Further up the fame ladder than Alan Carr.

no way there'll be A-List stars on the line up, but not that i care anyway
most of my current lets dance favourites are hardly ''hollywood a-lister celebs'' but they are good fun, bags of personality
have a feeling Alan Carr will be a pain in the arse personality wise on the show, but most high profile celebs would have too much ''here i am'' attitude which isn't nice or appealing for viewer public
