But if this vaccinedoenst work we may be waiting till September next year which means social distancing so there is no way they would get away with strangers going to Spain to kiss and have sex while people at homecant go to large family gatherings.
Alot of RTV will actually suffer u told a vaccine

Who knows
They did say the door was left open for Caroline and that she was having a year off and that she should return for the next series (which is what happened with Ant anyway, as Holly replaced him for a year on IAC, and Dec went solo on the other projects). We’d have never known if she’d have come back. It wasn’t possible or sensible for her to host during an ongoing trial when the show is filmed abroad

Drag race comparisons are ridiculous as many have stated.
I agree with what Amy Hart stated, as I work around the TV industry and know freelancers, the income from the show would probably contribute to a big chunk of their yearly income this year.

I personally think the Love Islanders are hardworking. To get the kind body to be able to be cast on the show you have to have resilience, Hard work, graft and some talent. It’s easy to say they’re talentless/lazy/ when you have no idea what it takes to be able to have the discipline to achieve that body/form
I’m not saying they’re smart, as many of them are completely stupid (Likewise with drag race contestants), but kudos to them for seeing an opportunity

21 year olds being fit isn't a talent.
If they were 51 year olds and worked hard to retain youthful/fit bodies then some element of hard work and discipline is involved.
But young people blessed with good looks, or covered in makeup or popping steroids is not a talent. Neither is shagging on TV.
I mean, personally, I'm not bothered about the show being on air or otherwise. I've managed to go the entire duration of the show's run having only seen it once. But let's not pretend it's something other than what it is. Like BB was, just cheap, mindless crap to switch your brain off to.

I've never understood this stigma surrounding the show tbh.
The entertainment industry has been pushing ideal beauty standards for decades.
The truth is we live in a shallow society and sex sells. There's a reason why most films/tv shows have actors that are more attractive than your average person on the street so why is it controversial when Love Island doesn't feature fat munters?

Hope you're not dictating what I can and can't have an opinion on Cherie!!! It might be a rare bout of hypocrisy!!!!
Thats twice now you have resorted to insults!!!! but carry on if it makes you feel good!!!!
Where did I say you couldn’t have an opinion? how valuable it is to anyone as a non viewer is debatable, I’m sure ITV would file in in the bin

Pretty much every Big Brother fan on this forum will have at some point in its heyday thought “why do people who don’t watch it care so much about it being on???”
The same applies here
For what it’s worth though I’m kinda glad it’s not going ahead, two series a year is overkill

I see more of a problem that they are pushing the idea you have to look a certain way to be seen attractive

It could be gone for 18 months, there is no way the show can ever be filmed during social distancingWhy not? They are litterally isolated from society for the entire show.

I mean you’ve never been able to achieve a body like 90% of those cast, nor has 90% of the public. If it was easy everyone would look like that? It’s easy to say it requires no talent sat on your sofa eating crisps
Sorry but I've been doing rugby and going to the gym for years and that doesn't make me talented. Disciplined yes, but not from shaping a body. If anything, I work out regularly because I am disciplined, not the other way around. That's why people stick to it if they wish.
And btw, you can work out and not look like any of the cast members (Gods knows I don't and don't wish to). And "super fit" people can still be unhealthy also.
So no, it doesn't taken "talent" to lift weights.

I'm glad they cancelled the winter series. It wasn't needed at all after how ****e January's series was.
