Cain and Aaron are on set for the first day of filming, they’re producing six lockdown episodes. Unclear whether they’re just filming six episodes, or if it’s six episodes with the lockdown theme.

The six new episodes – Cain and Aaron (Jeff Hordley and Danny Miller), Chas and Paddy (Lucy Pargeter and Dominic Brunt), Sam and Lydia (James Hooton and Karen Blick), Marlon, Al and Ellis (Mark Charnock, Michael Wildman, Aaron Anthony), Mandy and Vinny (Lisa Riley and Bradley Johnson) and Jimmy and Nicola (Nick Miles and Nicola Wheeler) – will be recorded over a two week period and directed by Ian Bevitt.

Shocked they’re not doing Charity and Vanessa, Jai and Laurel, Harriet, Will and Dawn etc seeing as they’re some of the biggest stories right now

Think this is for episodes to air when they run out. I don't think they're back to full time filming.

They run out in two weeks, and these six episodes will only give them another two weeks. They’re gonna have to take an extended break at some point (like EastEnders are doing).

They’ll need to get ahead in filming, it’ll be impossible to uphold the turnaround time these episodes are gonna have.

+1

neither here for our dutch soap GTST, they'll have a season finale earlier than usual just because they run out of content, and they didn't manage to film the intended cliffhanger, so they made a different ''cliffhanger'' here few last minute editing been done

and resuming whenever it is possible to resume filming again, but probably giving teasers through social media (twitter, instagram) etc

^ just had asked one of my dutch friends who is a fellow watcher of GTST, he thought begin of next month they'll resume filming for the start of next season, and that the next season can start on normal planned dates here too

She's barely 4 months, let alone "heavy".

They will by continuing to only air 2 or 3 episodes a week, gradually increasing as time goes on.

They only have 9 left at the moment, this will give them 15. They’re gonna have to take at least a few weeks off.

Not if they are filming a few eps a week and continue to air only 2-3 a week.

UK soaps don't have seasons, so it will be really odd if there is a break between episodes

I heard last week they would run out of eps by 5th June so this is good news although it sounds a bit boring :worry:

I guess some people wont want to come back so soon? and also if any have underlying health issues they cant return either....plus they have to stick to people who are living together
