First time round I thought she was funny. Her v Clay was great, made them both fun. But the second time she just seemed bitter to me. This time is probably better than the second, but it just feels weird she's there again, like an example of the producer's favouritism. It seems her and Bayleigh were put in to be together, and the producers probably expected David to align as well.

The producers missed out Janelle stating she wasn't happy with the race element.

Aww yes, it really hurt watching that. It really wasn't necessary for Julie to go that far when Nicola felt so bad about it. Clearly Julie has always been a massive Janelle fan, so maybe she was extra mad about that but idk, it really wasn't fair on Nicola, in a human aspect.

Any remarks in this thread about DR scenes have to take into account that they are largely scripted.

I think that's what a lot of the fandom is fed up with at this point. The threat of two or three black people aligning is more of a concern than five or six white people actually aligning. None of the white people this season have to worry about ~how it looks~ when they all align.

So my take with Janelle is very similar to Nikki Grahame where she is undeniably epic and I do loooooooove her, but ultimately I think the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. She's one of my BB6 faves but I hate how the fanbase is so ready to tear down Ivette for calling Kaysar.... what she did, and ready to slander Maggie and Cappy for "killing" patients and "letting houses burn" but then they turn a blind eye to Janelle saying a buuuuuunch of hateful and racist **** about how Jennifer's a dirty little Mexican whose only attainable job is being a cleaning lady. I also thought her BB7 appearance was just kinda sad honestly.

BB6 Janelle was the incarnation that cemented her iconic legacy, but I will agree that BB22 was probably my favourite version of her. 15 years on, it's really fulfilling to see her crushing it at 40 years old, looking as good as she's ever looked, rich, successful and remaining constantly unbothered as she strikes fear into these new-school wannabes just by simply existing.

In a season with bigger names and actual All Stars I feel she could have thrived more. She never got the chance to get off her feet and it's honestly more of a reflection on the rest of the cast than it is on her. I’m so glad she came back though and that I got to experience her on the feeds with Kaysar, it’s honestly put it into perspective just how far casting has fallen in recent years because there are literally no modern alumni that hold a candle to these two in terms of status and authenticity. The only full returnee season that has been legitimately great on any CBS show is Heroes vs. Villains. Unfinished Business is good too but it isn’t without its faults. The rest are ranging from Not Good to Actually Bad.

Really glad they showed things pretty much exactly as they happened. There was definitely more to Tyler's cold feet than the "silver platter" comment but I c u production. Right at the very end it was spun into something else; something that justified the move by highlighting Da'Vonne's messy gameplay and making Tyler's betrayal seem smarter and well-informed.

Speaking of Da'Vonne, queen is really carrying the episodes since Kaysar's eviction :love: I'm hopeful that she stays this week as I think Bayleigh's entire game just tanked in the last few days. I also need to see her win a HoH comp (or just anything really) before she hangs up her BB shoes for good.

Showing Cody grieving over the passing of his grandfather was pretty morbid and completely unnecessary. But you see how certain people still have no qualms about milking even the most sorrowful of times. Who was the first person to rush in there to "comfort him"?? That's right, pet-freak Tyler. That sick bitch Grodner clearly gave him the early word and directed him to do that. It shows you that there's simply no avenue these types won't head into when desperate to attract public support/adoration.

And then in the vote-off, puppet Moonves continues peddling utter garbage for their golden boy: "Tyler tried to fall on his sword for Da'Vonne and Bayleigh" EMBARRASSING.

The interview was definitely trying to push that poor Bayleigh had been a victim. The funniest line to me was:
"I just felt very betrayed by her relationship with me. It was too close, we did laundry together."

By what they showed in the episode Da'Vonne was definitely stirring things up, and it was entertaining. But own it, don't say you're a victim.

In the house HGs weren't just talking about Da'Vonne potentially blowing up sometime, they said the same of Christmas. So it wasn't just thought of on racial lines, as about ABW.

Thursday was SUCH a good episode!

- The entire Christmas vs. Da'Vonne/Bayleigh fight = classic, really well edited for the drama & humor aspects. Ian's towel bits being stuck in the shower needing a towel while this is going on :joker: Kevin's face when Christmas is FUMING in the kitchen AND some of Christmas' faces/reactions :laugh2:

- Cody's grandpa dying :( </3 Would be pretty cool/crazy if he went on to win the season, following in Derrick's footsteps completely

- I didn't mind Bayleigh on this season but didn't care for her in recent eps again... not from that fight tho, I thought she handled herself best of the 3. Anyway, glad Day stayed :clap1:
