Her I will deliver mantra is nauseating.
Her delivery is more structured but she just comes over as completely false.
It is only her first to be fair.
However Starmer hammered his point well and she looked in the wrong just dismissing it outright.
Political allegiance aside, most would want her to have success re energy costs.
However it really will have to be as near 100% right to succeed.
She will need to start listening to many others and not just herself and her musical chaired Cabinet rather than a really NEW and FRESH Cabinet which was badly needed.

A Good Question
Why can Labour not have a female leader?
A better question is why does it matter?
Or maybe the question should be how did the Tories manage it without even thinking about an insulting all-woman shortlist?
maggie thatcher was an anomaly, she was a woman way ahead of her time. May and Truss has happened because the tories have been in power for 12 years, their faces are always on the TV. If labour were in power for 12 years now, the same would happen with them

A Good Question
Why can Labour not have a female leader?
I'd agree, it hasn't happened and should have.
Certainly by now.
I recall discussions with my Father who was a Con voter.
However he said he'd always thought the first female PM would have been Barbara Castle from Labour.
Then he thought Shirley Williams could have been for Labour too.
It hasn't happened yet although Margaret Beckett was acting leader after the death of John Smith.
She also was the first female Foreign Secretary.
Then Harriett Harman was acting leader twice too.
However, looking at the last female Con leader the disaster which was Mrs May.
Then looking at this new one.
I fear sadly these last 2, it may have been better to have not been in the office of PM.
Love or hate her, I wasn't born in her time, however Margaret Thatcher was a good, strong leader of the Nation.
Worthy of that office .
Immaterial of loving, liking or hating her policies

I don't think Starmer should go for much today.
Perhaps the shocking return of Bravernan.
On the economy he'll be wasting his time as all Sunak has to say now is wait for the Chancellor's announcement when it eventually is made.
So for me this will end up a tedious tit for tat PMQs with no real answers to any questions as usual.
In fact more than likely a waste of time.

Politicians across the board sadly think making silly comments and joke lines entertain the public when in fact I'd say it turns them off.
It's sadly those daft jokes and comments which get the headlines.
Asking a serious question often just gets cast aside by the media.
Plus really good and serious questions at PMQs have never had a proper or good response from the last 3:Prime Ministers.

I think and actually I know of Con voters of my friends who are not happy at all Bravernan is brought back.
Starmer right to go on it and Sunak FAILED to answer the question was he given any advice on bringing her back.
The only possible telling point of this PMQs.
If time reveals Sunak was advised of concerns of her back.

Really.
The arrogance of Cons just gets worse.

Really.
The arrogance of Cons just gets worse.
That they believe lawbreaking or wrongdoing should still be rewarded AS LONG as it's ONLY Cons doing the lawbreaking and wrongdoing as you're indicating there.
That's what really is and should be pathetic.
Not anyone else pointing out that wrongdoing.
It seems the cons can do what they want it seems , oh god .. they're going to stay in power for who knows how long :bored: .

It seems the cons can do what they want it seems , oh god .. they're going to stay in power for who knows how long :bored: .
I hope not.
Yes though, their hard-line supporters actually seem to encourage and enable the Cons do break laws and do wrong.
They don't care likely about people and the Nation as long as the Cons stay in power indefinitely .
Hopefully the vast majority of more moderate voters and the softer less commited Con voters now do want this endlessly deceitful and lying shambles out.
That's my hope anyhow.
I don't know your thinking GoldHeart but my own is that we need PR for true democracy in the UK now to more represent number of MPs for votes cast.
Blair was looking to explore this in 1997, then he won a massive overall majority of 179.
So it was out.
Even with the current poll leads for Labour.
I'm well aware poll leads can evaporate as politics gets more volatile.
Which is why I want Labour to take on PR as policy.
I think they'd walk an election with it.
Plus yes, while once in place Labour wouldn't win elections outright.
Certainly however never again would the Cons and so their extreme arrogance and heartlessness hopefully gone for good.
Javid is concerned at the now Labour movement suppport for PR.
Starmer still needs convincing sadly.
However the Cons would be messing themselves if Labour made PR its aim.
As would those of the more hard-line supporters of the Cons.
Who'd let the Cons do and get away with anything.
No matter how bad it was.
