It means despite it being clearly showed Meghan lied you still trying to come up with excuses like it was something other people do

She been married before and divorced she knew exactly what they did in that garden but exchanging vows don’t get the same reaction as getting married

I am not making excuses for anyone, I gave a real life situation....just like you did with your relationship from someone who lived in a hut!

Actually I said I wasn't going to respond again, however I've looked back at my post, and I'll concede you are correct as to my wording.

I apologise for doubting your interpretation of that.

I was wrong, I will amend it here now however to what is correct.

He was in the name of duty, with added funding of his time at University from the Marines, to as a condition of him having that funding, he had to do service in the Marines.

In fact, to me that sounds almost worse, very akin to a form of blackmail.
I actually regret not phrasing it that way now.

What Parents would even think of allowing, for funds being paid for their son or daughter, to be at Uni.
A condition that they MUST do military service stipulated by the Marines themselves.

(Anyway, I have always endeavoured to watch my wording as I have all my years on here.
I will always admit I'm not perfect and will get things wrong, when if I do, I hold my hands up to that.

So you can now smile that you were right on this occasion, so I apologise for my inadvertent error.

I now leave in place my amended account of the issue however.
Which as I indicated above, doesn't sound nice for the Monarch to have approved in any event.

I'm just appalled with where this place is, and I don't blame anyone for it because it's not rule breaking as such, but the mix of adults either caring about what a young couple does and says in minute detail, and even worse, the grown ass men that really don't even care about them, but pretend to, just to keep this absolute dirge continuing is perhaps the saddest thing I've seen in all my time here, and I was part of some pretty stupidly inane and unnecessary arguments during my first spell that I can cringe about now.

Also to be clear, if I do get a ban, I know that will also be my fault, not mods or admins, and then the ever decreasing numbers can just wither away this place until Marc (i think he's the owner but apologies if incorrect) turns out the lights.

Posters want less and less to do with this place, I've hardly posted during the last 6 weeks, mainly because of these threads and the way they dominate the whole forum. I know more and more folks are using "offsite" arenas to have what should be, and what were in the past, TIBB forum discussions.

Now let's be honest, you don't really ever have much to say beyond some cringey sex joke or out of place idiom, and look at you here, the new royal correspondent for their inner most thoughts, feelings, and intentions.

It's weird and sad.

So yeah, if me pointing things out like this will cause me to get a ban (I only have 1 infraction on my record currently), then yeah, I won't be back, and that will be my choice.

To be fair to Sheriff, he also likes the occasional violent outburst, and with all of that his repertoire is actually quite varied compared to Jet who exclusively posts about The Royals (and 95% about Meghan Markle) and other than that literally doesn't post at all. Ever. And yet will show up within the first page of a Meghan Markle thread even when there hasn't been one for a while so must be actively waiting for them. Now THAT is bizarre.

Although... it's clear that Jet has invested his time and effort in the royal family, and however painful we might find it, there is at least some merit in following a topic he's interested in, the danger is when it switches over to crazed obsession, which you do a great job in pointing out, and honestly - the patience of a saint.

I still maintain that without the pretenders constantly adding fuel to the fire, and winding him up, acting as though they care about Oprah interviews and the like, this whole mess would die down really quickly.

The forum can survive anyone leaving, and I'm not a special, what it will struggle to survive is this constant Harry said this, Meghan looked at the camera and smirked in frame 10 of that interview, because no one cares.

All these threads have done is given posters that don't really offer anything, a team, and it's the build up of that team that will continue to ruin the forum.

But to clarify, I know the health of this place has zero to do with whether or not I post, but I do have fondness for it, and I hate seeing it in this state.

I think you would be surprised (judging by your post) just how many people feel exactly the same way as me. Now I don't expect anything to change for a very good reason - things can't change unless there is a rule change, and no one wants random rule changes (me included).

Whether or not you post, again, is irrelevant to me, and if you think I only want posters posting that agree with me on everything, you're mistaken.

I also haven't posted for a month, so if I'm sucking the life out of you when I'm not here, that's an achievement I can really be proud of.

I said child actually...and posted that as I passed large groups of school kids queuing 2 metres apart outside a chicken shop at lunch time in streatham.

Poor ****ers stuck at the back, having to wait looking st thier watches and bellies.

I tooted on the way past though, for the queues and respect.

I have hardly ever missed more than a few days in years of having a quick look at SD and reading a thread or two I find interesting, and you surely know I used to post a lot more...remember I used to point out your harassment of Brillo? :whistle:
I was never a prolific poster though since BB ended and nowadays just don’t have the time or inclination. I belong to another forum where I’m not a prolific poster either.

Posting in a royal related thread here when it comes up is hardly the obsession some seem to think it is, especially when I never start them in the first place.
But anyone is welcome to think whatever they want, I’ll continue to do my own thing, as always, nobody here will change that, especially not you. :thumbs2:

I'm not part of any offsite group and don't have any knowledge of what you're saying. If that happened, that's really out of order; but without the facts, I hope you appreciate I can't really comment more at this stage.
