what do you wonder about?
Recently I wonder why there isn't a female equivalent to a bromance.

Why curmudgeon's need to take something the forum has done for years that's light hearted, pleasant and fairly inconsequential and make it negative.

serial killers
...you wonder what a series killer’s thoughts are when they kill, Amy...?...
Why people randomly dislike others for no reason.
...I never think things like that are random, Red...I always think there is a reason/an association etc...whether it’s rational or even realised or not...
Will I ever get a happy ending?
....hmmmm, I don’t think that we get happy endings as such, I think we make those, Lala...as in taking the positives we’re able to/finding alternate paths that work for us when it all goes a bit off course...which life has a way of doing quite regularly and we need to rearrange it a bit...for many, many things there will be positive and negative to draw from experiences and if we focus on the positive, that happiness will be felt and we’ll think, yeah this is not too shabby at all... but it’ll pass us by more or we’ll barely notice it if we’re more absorbed in the negative ...
...it makes sense in my head anyways...
...I wonder why things make sense in my head but nowhere else...

Can we un**** the world or have we like properly irreversably trashed it? And it drives me NUTS because I think we're the specific bunch of people who don't actually get to find out. People before us didn't know the planet was wrecked, and people born in the next 20 years or so will probably get to find out either way (whether we miraculously fix it, or it just goes down the sh*tter) ... but we're all going to die knowing that the world is broken, but not knowing if it's fixable :fist:.

I spend way too much time thinking about how they get those strips of plastic in those straight lines over seeds in fields and how come they don't just blow off when it gets windy
...when we record our voices ...why don’t we recognise our own voice as us...?...our own voice is the most familiar voice to us of any and yet we don’t recognise it if it’s played to us...?...but then on something like Zoom or WhatsApp vid or something of the like...it’s back to being our voice again...
...I wonder why the use of ‘voice’ so many times in that post, such awful grammar...I wonder why...

Why do I keep finding spiders in the barn and shed when flies never really go in them?

Omg same. The joys of being a woman.
Everything is Covids fault so I'd blame the virus.

Why people idolise and dedicate their lives to following a pop star/singer.. Teenagers I can understand and even young adults, but once you’re reaching 30 it’s time to re-evaluate I reckon.

Is ageing/life really as quick as people say it is? Terrified of suddenly blinking and my life being over. My dad says life goes by fast but my mam says it doesn’t so idk.

....I suspect that it probably goes by around the same pace for both of them, Cal......I think that its more in reflection that time feels to have gone by more quickly ...and that might be something that you feel anyway in looking back to school times etc...

Honestly once you hit 30 it seems to start absolutely flying past, it is a bit worrying :umm2:. At one point I lost an entire year... I was talking about a friend's wedding and I was like "Wow that was 8 months ago already" and then someone pointed out that it was the PREVIOUS September... so in fact 20 months... and I had a bit of an existential crisis at that point. Like I legitimately thought it had been less than a year, but it was nearly 2 years.
