....hmmmm, I don’t think that we get happy endings as such, I think we make those, Lala...as in taking the positives we’re able to/finding alternate paths that work for us when it all goes a bit off course...which life has a way of doing quite regularly and we need to rearrange it a bit...for many, many things there will be positive and negative to draw from experiences and if we focus on the positive, that happiness will be felt and we’ll think, yeah this is not too shabby at all... but it’ll pass us by more or we’ll barely notice it if we’re more absorbed in the negative ...

Can we un**** the world or have we like properly irreversably trashed it? And it drives me NUTS because I think we're the specific bunch of people who don't actually get to find out. People before us didn't know the planet was wrecked, and people born in the next 20 years or so will probably get to find out either way (whether we miraculously fix it, or it just goes down the sh*tter) ... but we're all going to die knowing that the world is broken, but not knowing if it's fixable .
