The Royals often travel on scheduled flights...and unlike Meghan and Harry do not lecture us on Climate Change etc etc etc...

Yeah, I guess it was too hard to take it all lying down. Meghan started the whole sorry mess in the first place by publicly humiliating her family by not inviting any of them to her wedding, refusing courtiers help to protect her father, and telling Harry a sob story about having no real family (Harry on radio show “we are the family she never had”).
Then Meghan lied about and tried to discredit her father to her friends (People magazine) and lied and tried to discredit her half sister (Oprah interview and Finding Freedom book).

Now the Dad, Samantha and Meghan have all given interviews; the difference between them is that Meghan does it in $50,000 designer gear preaching about what a humanitarian she is and how we should all show compassion and slagging off her inlaws while using them to make her fortune.

How embarrassing was that for her? Harry and the other guy held the trophy aloft and Meghan, standing in between them, was pushed back out of sight and her hat was nearly knocked off. Then she ducked and pushed herself forward into the shot….and the kiss…she hid kissing Harry with her hand and then proceeded to wipe lipstick off his face with her fingers like she was his Mummy. Not to mention the high stilleto heels on a polo field. Oh Meghan....:facepalm:

Honestly it’s quite gross to use this as another silly reason to criticise, there’s a time and place. People have died!! A celebrity pays respects and donates which is more than what others are doing.

Difference was Kate walked a mile down the road with a discreet security guy, no cameras, she was only photographed by another mourner on their phone. No announcement was made of her visit.

Meghan can’t do anything without bells and whistles attached.
A spokesperson announced she made a 6 hour round trip to Uvalde to support the community in person. WTH? Why would she think they needed to see HER, in person.
She’s not a working Royal, she’s not a politician, she’s a minor actress who happened to marry a Prince, is all.
Her self importance and narcissism is mind blowing.

There are photos on Twitter (if anyone can post them) of her being photographed by 2 cameramen with those professional cameras on tripods and she posed with the people who were in the food for the blood donors area.

She was accompanied by Michael Jacksons security guy who was with him when he died, it is said.
She won’t drive 3 hours to see her very ill father, who sacrificed so much for his beloved daughter until she cast him aside when he was no longer needed, but takes a private jet in luxury to posture for tragic strangers in the throes of unbelievable grief for kudo’s and photo ops. She makes me sick.

Well no, because for the 2 years before the wedding, throughtout Harry dating Meghan and then getting engaged, there wasn't a peep out of her Dad or Sam.

It started when they discovered Meghan was lying about them and then discarded them like she did with many others who were no longer of any use to her, like her best friend from childhood until 'Suits' fame among them.

“Draw your own box. White. Black. Hispanic. Asian/Pacific Islander.
Those were the only four options available for me to check as my ethnicity in my 7th grade English class. Choose one. It was some sort of mandatory census that had to be completed before an exam, and there I was (my curly hair, my freckled face, my pale skin, my mixed race) looking down at these boxes, not wanting to mess up, but not knowing what to do. Not knowing which box I fit in to.
I remember going home that night and telling my dad what happened, recounting how my teacher said to just “choose one” - that despite my being biracial, that I should simply choose one box and be done with it. And in one of those parenting moments that no guidebook could ever prep you for, my dad said words that will stay with me forever: “Draw your own box.”

This is the same man who took apart two Barbie boxed sets (because you could only buy a white Barbie or a black one), and made a custom one to bring home to me - his speciality set included a black Barbie mom, a white Ken doll dad, and two kids - one black and one white. I picture him standing there in Toys R Us, moms glaring at him for taking the toys apart, perhaps an employee saying “excuse me sir, you can’t do that” - as my dad carefully separated the boxed sets to make one that echoed my reality. One that showed me that I should (and could) make my own box.

In celebrating Father’s Day, I think of so many moments with my dad. Our club sandwich & fruit smoothie tradition post my tap & ballet class - classes, which by the way, he religiously took me to on Saturday mornings after working 75+ hours a week as a lighting director. The fishing trips along the Kern River and Big Bear Lake to catch catfish or trout and cook it up for dinner, and the commitment he made to lighting my high school musicals so that they felt as grand as a Broadway show.
The blood, sweat and tears this man (who came from so little in a small town of Pennsylvania, where Christmas stockings were filled with oranges, and dinners were potatoes and spam) invested in my future so that I could grow up to have so much.

He helped me turn my bathroom into a darkroom when I was twelve because I wanted to be a photographer - shading my windows in red lighting gels and filling my cabinets with extra jugs of fixer. He put gas in my car when I went from audition trying to make it as an actress. He is the person who believed in this grand dream of mine well before I could even see it as a possibility. He taught me to write thank you notes, to always arrive early, to drink Arnold Palmers, to find my light when I’m on camera…and beyond.

And that, right there, is the point: my dad taught me to find my light. And he taught me to always make my own box.
