Agreed, ISP Guy is my favourite character, closely followed by George.

I can't wait to see some of the new characters - I wonder what they're like...

I know same same same! I got the last series on dvd from lovefilm, and on the special features it shows you the real guy doing the voices. Ruins it a bit haha, luckily ive forgotten what he looks like

I thought it was a steady start to the series.

My favourite sketch was the one when the Fonejacker called the Butchers' to ask for prices, only to pretend to announce lower prices at Morrisons.

My other favourites were the electric fence sketch, as was the George Agdgdgwngo sketch - I'm glad they're not limiting him to a bank/money transfer company this series.

To a lesser extent, I also liked the Mr Doovdé/Terry Tibbs sketches.

Otherwise, I failed to warm to the new characters, and I didn't really like the skit with the Chinese illegal-DVD-selling baby.

I hope it gets better - and that ISP Guy makes a return - next week.

Fonejacker to get bigger

Exclusive by Todd Florance - Channel 4's prank call comedy show Fonejacker may be heading for the big screen.

The show, winner of the 2008 Best Comedy Bafta, was created by actor Kayvan Novak, who stars as the balaclava-clad "telephone terrorist".

"If we do anything more, it would be a movie," Novak told Teletext. E4 has just begun showing the second series of the show on Wednesday nights.

"I'm sure they would love another series, but after making two we'll probably leave it at that," he said.

"It takes nine months per series, and I've probably done 3,000 prank calls since we started, so if we're going to do that it may as well be for a movie."

Afterwards, the Fonejacker will hang up his balaclava for good. "We'll leave it at that - there's only so much 'Jacking this man can take," he said.
