Firstly I love you girls you know that....but you are both wrong. Bill absolutely deserved the win in his year
Plus Hamza is just the loveliest guy he's adorable and so is Jowita and I absolutely love his dances tonight apart from his showdance. Overall Fleur was the strongest tonight but she was a dancer long before a singer so of course she would be. I'm gutted she didn't win. But whoever won tonight I'd have been happy with I loved all of them. Hamza is such a lovely person I don't get why anyone could be angry at his win

Even right at the end you could see him saying to Jowita to take the glitterball and she was saying to him no you deserve it take it take it. He's such a lovely guy he really is. And genuinely too. You can tell when someone has a fake niceness, Hamza is one of the most genuine loveliest people. I don't get how anyone can't be blown away by his salsa and couples choice either

Sadly the public just didn't like Fleur & Molly.
And I'd say that Helen needed her other two dances on the night to be at the level of her last dance.
Personally I feel like the standard of winner does need to get much better though, Rose & Hamza were poor most weeks and that needs to change.

Quite, and also bringing Craig RH into line when he was criticizing him in earlier weeks. Motsi just overmarks everyone so does Anton.
Len and Darcy were great as very neutral judges - no standing up wailing from them.
Show needs a massive reset - its lost 5 million viewers since 2012.

I'm pleased for Hamza ... well done to him :clap1: , he's much better than previous overrated dancers who get praised to death in past strictly series!.
Yes Shirley is a mess , but that's not Hamza's fault . He's a lovely guy who put the effort in.

Well the BBC should release the voting stats , but they never do .
I'm shocked Molly didn't get a perfect 40 ! insane  .
Like i said previous series ...i've thought the same , when the best dancers get hate in the media or they lose support for no reason. It isn't fair. But i liked all 4 contestants so well done to them all , they should be proud .

I actually think Hamza will have won by a good margin if we ever were to get the voting figures.
Definitely not my choice to win on the final night.
However I've expected this for weeks as really he has been overmarked by the judges week after week.
I agree with Mock, that Fleur and Molly likely didn't have the public voting base.
That's unfortunate because they really stepped up in the final.
There was likely only Helen of the last 4 who could have had the chance to win over Hamza.
I fear she too was however a fair way behind Hamza in votes.
It is true however too that now Strictly IS more a popularity contest of the chosen celebrities to be on the show.
Where the actual dancing becomes secondary once the public and even some of the judges, become attached to any particular celebrity.
Well done to Hamza certainly.
He only needed to get more public votes than any of the others which he did manage.
It doesn't alter that in that final he made errors and wasn't the best of the 4 finalists at all.
I do agree with Kate here, those 3 female contestants were awesome in the final.
Definitely one of them should have been rewarded with the win this year.
In my opinion obviously.

yes, his popularity increased massively during the series, true
and in terms of what bull**** the media writes, i tend to ignore it, because most of the time that is just made up nonsense for clicks, drama, likes
i really thought Helen was a certainty to win it, glad that wasn't the case otherwise i would've never watched this version again, if we talk about someone who could do no wrong in eyes of certain judges (Motsi, Shirley, Anton) and who always got perfect music choices, perfect dresses
and no, i have remained loyal to my fave until he got eliminated and i actually remained neutral right up until last night and i just also thought Hamza had more vote winning dances than the other 3 (good choices anyway, especially their own fave dance choice, Jerusalema is a pure crowdpleaser of a bop and it is always so much more fun to see the pro also just have a good time rather than solely focus on wether her celeb partner is doing things right)
Molly had the better showdance of the 4 i guess, going for something we haven't seen before from her, rather than a best bits one

Molly was considered a ringer. Fleur was too much of a try hard and no one likes a try hard.
When a dancer is consistently in the bottom two; no matter how good they are the public are telling the judges they are not going to win. The judges should listen to the public and not have this scenarios where two of the finalist are clearly not popular with the public.
Hamza wasn't the best but Mollie or Fleur didn't stand a chance. I was expecting Helen to win because shes a popular BBC figure. I never thought Mollie or Fleur would win
I also agree with Annie. Hamza partner, the lovely Jowita has quickly become my favourite pro dance. I have a crush on her too.

That doesn't really mean he was the best on all of those nights.
And don't forget that Ellie T topped a night with these judges.
I honestly think that if Hamza hadn't have had his Salsa and Couples Choice performances we'd be having another Rose type of winner, where someone completely unremarkable in their performances wins the Show.
I mean it's honestly not the end of the world that he won, and Hamza as a person seems like a really nice guy, but to me it's absurd that the public snubbed Fleur on the night, and tbh in general throughout the series when she probably has the best collection of dances for this particular series.

I agree with all that.
I do think Strictly needs to assess itself and how the judging is done.
Plus the voting too.
No matter their personal view no judge should be showing preferences for one or more contestants and not others.
Admittedly it is an entertainment show and it is to be fair.
The 3 things I'd do is cut the judges to 3 so no need for a head judge at all to overrule 2 others.
The dance off, I'd scrap doing the same dance already voted on by the judges, and have the dance off couples doing the same dance to be judged on.
I'd also make it that the public vote decides who goes only from the quarter final stage.
That probably wouldn't help but something needs to be done re the public voting too.
I haven't a thought on that.
However there's too much inconsistency from at least 2 of the judging panel as to their comments and then the marks they dish out.
To the ones they like or to the ones they clearly don't care for.
That's NOT professional even in a more light hearted competitive setting.

I agree,if anyone was going for the sympathy vote it was Fleur ,Helen was quite called I think and a good dancer.
Tbh I think that the only people getting sympathy votes in the series were Hamza & Ellie S, because some people love to patronise certain groups of people on these Shows.

you guys were saying what exactly?????
at least Hamza isn't from a closet affair relationship from that Boris Becker fraud scumbag
more of a fix last night, as if miss closet affair kid was such a great dancer, just average maybe and Valentin has had better celeb partners :(
Llambi also shouting like ''thank god Anna signed up with us and not the lame british version strictly''
#Philipp&PatriciawereRobbed :bawling: their barbie & ken showdance was brilliant
Really? Wtf are the public thinking?
Hamza was, by far, the weakest of the four finalists. He shouldn't even have been there.
Is this about the SNP leadership contest?
