And yet you don't apply this same motto ...to Meghan ,ahhh well never mind eh.

We are not discussing Meghan...we are discussing JC and his inappropriate comment. A comment you clearly find disgraceful too...and then you call him 'a bag of ****'....very hypocritical.
As much as I dislike Meghan I have never called her a bag of ****...:hee:

I have given my opinion on what he said...in fact I thought it was quite funny because he didnt mean it 'Literally'...But I did think it was an inappropriate thing to put in an article or on social media. If its going to be said its the kind of thing you would say amongst friends who actually know and get your sense of humour.
You clearly dislike him as much as JC dislikes Meghan but its OK for you to be derogatory about him by referring to faeces but not him....
Good job he didnt say that Harry should be 'hung drawn and quartered'

He is

James May said in an interview that while they're obviously friends, it's more in the form of old workmates than besties - i.e. they enjoy each other's company on the job but they don't really socialize or stay in close touch outwith their work.

So they do indeed probably like him as a work pal but they're not "besties", it's different. It may be a tough concept for you as you can't be workmates with an old lamp... so you may not quite grasp that "workmate who you chat away to every day but will never speak to again as soon as you stop working together" dynamic. That's what he's describing. When they retire they'll enjoy seeing each other once in a blue moon... but they'll make no effort for that to be regular.

Look at you still pretending to know what you are talking about

You can be best friends with someone but rarely see them.

Look at you still pretending to know what you are talking about

You can be best friends with someone but rarely see them.

Can you be best friends with someone who has outright stated;

“First and foremost, we are work colleagues, we work together.

“There is a rapport obviously, it wouldn’t work if you didn’t have that.

“But, we’re not friends as in you're friends with your old school mates, your gang you’ve grown up with for many years.”

No one has said they're not friends. They're not besties. They're old friends and "first and foremost, work colleagues". Maybe you personally would say someone who says that about you can be a best friend ... if that's the case, you have my sympathies.

I do indeed have old friends who I'm very close with but now see no more than two or three times a year. They are indeed some of my best friends.

I would be gutted if they referred to me as "an old work colleague" or "an old school pal".

Id say in the last 30 years they have spent more time in each other's company than any other pal they have and probably more time than with their partners due to the nature of their work.

Id say in the last 30 years they have spent more time in each other's company than any other pal they have and probably more time than with their partners due to the nature of their work.

Again totally irrelevant to how close they are, anyone who has had the same job over an extended period of time has certainly spent more time with various colleagues than with their out of work friends, and probably more than with their spouse (if you don't count time spent asleep).

You can work with someone for 8 hours a day every day for 10 years, through massive life events, know their whole life story... ... ... and still never see or hear from them again from the day you leave that job onwards.

I'll concede that it's a strange phenomenon, but it is what it is. Work friends and social friends are not the same thing. They CAN be the same thing - you CAN make some of the best friends you'll ever have via work - but they're not always the same thing it's far from inevitable that time spent = close friendship.

Heck... even if they think of each other like brothers/like family, that still doesn't mean they're "best friends". It is, again, a different type of relationship entirely.

And this poor neighbour of hers wont forget the nightmare of being her
neighbour and how vile she was to him.. id imagine her Mum forgot to tell
that left wing LBC lady about that?

'NEIGHBOUR FROM HELL' Caroline Flack’s neighbour slams ex-Love Island host over ‘extremely selfish’ 5am parties and noisy arguments

https://www.thesun.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/NINTCHDBPICT000549071571.jpg?w=620

He said:" All I was asking from her is to be a little more reasonable and show
some consideration for us as the house was terrible.

"We would regularly hear her arguing with Andrew and then she would have
parties at gone midnight until 5am during the week when we had to get up
for work.

"One time I had just had my wisdom teeth out and she started playing really
loud music in the early hours and it was throbbing right under our bed.

"I texted her and told her about my teeth and said could she keep it down

and she replied saying she had wasn't going to live her life by my teeth.

"I just don't think she has any concept of how other people live and she is
extremely selfish. I can understand why Andrew, who was a decent enough
guy, moved to Australia.

In July Caroline even admitted she was a terrible neighbour in an interview
with glossy monthly Cosmopolitan and poked fun at Jake without naming
him.

Okay she was a bad neighbour.

Although personally I've never been the noise police.

But also again what Caroline did in this situation has nothing to do with the UK Media plus ITV basically removing her from all of her jobs with the witchunt that they did.

And they've not learned either because they tried to get Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby removed recently for just being unlikable, which the last time I checked wasn't a crime.

To be fair there is a bit of a question mark over Philip's conduct that should at the very least be looked into. Holly hasn't really done anything though.

The Sun newspaper says it regrets publishing a Jeremy Clarkson column about the Duchess of Sussex and is "sincerely sorry".

More than 20,000 complaints were made to the press regulator after the broadcaster wrote last week that he hated Meghan "on a cellular level".

He later asked for the column to be removed from the Sun's website.

The Sun said columnists' opinions were their own, but as a publisher "with free expression comes responsibility".

The piece became the Independent Press Standards Organisation's (Ipso) most complained-about article.

Ipso said it had received more than 17,500 complaints by 0900 GMT on Tuesday - which rose to 20,8000 by 17:00

Oh I don't mind anyone being investigated if there's an allegation made against them doing something wrong, and personally I've never really liked Philip Schofield very much, so it'd be no skin off my nose.

However the public went mad at him for skipping the queue of the Queen's Funeral and tried to ruin his career over it.

And again I don't 100% approve of Philip's behaviour in this incident, but it's also not an action that makes him the next R.Kelly.

She had mental health issues, the Media in particular shouldn't have demonized her over that, and actually made it hard for her to keep her career.

You say it's "hypocritical" for me to call Clarkson names, yet you still admitted to finding his grotesque comment funny. If you can't see the double standards there ,then ok.

You also have a tendency to pretend you don't know what's going on . Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Don't take this as gospel, but aren't there rumours that Philip might've had a relationship with a guy much younger than himself?

The problem with that story though is I've never heard anyone say the guy's age that Philip's supposedly had a relationship with.

On the queue issue I think bothers me how some people were treating him and Holly like they were hardened criminals.

The reaction was imo too OTT to what they'd done.
