I'm not the biggest fan of EastEnders, but if other people enjoy it then I see that as a good thing.

And let's face it, it can't be worse than some of the stuff coming from The Streamers lately.:joker:

This might actually get me back watching the modern Eastenders :laugh: for 5 mins at least anyway. Don't miss a classic episode on drama (currently early 2003), it's my guilty pleasure.

This might actually get me back watching the modern Eastenders :laugh: for 5 mins at least anyway. Don't miss a classic episode on drama (currently early 2003), it's my guilty pleasure.

2003 was a great year (minus the Ferreiras) but 2023 'Enders ain't bad. I started watching it (and Corrie) properly again early last year and of the two EE's improved the most. Corrie's passably middling at times (and quite comforting to watch on a Friday) but characters like Gemma, Kirk and Craig (who's a blackmailer and a bully, no matter how awkwardly-sweet he seems) suck the life out of it. None of those three idiots have any reason to still be there.

It's the kind of twist that unfortunately killed 24, I'm amazed that Shows keep doing that type of twist.

They’ve reverted him back to one of the earlier actors who played him (Thomas Law, who was Peter from 2005/6 to 2010). Despite the fact that he’s obviously matured quite a bit, his acting seems to have regressed a little bit (he wobbled a bit tonight) but even on his worst days he’s still a million times better than the total flop that was the last Peter. I’m so glad we ain’t seeing that one again.
