The clapping was a nice gesture as a one off, a nicer gesture would be to give them proper pay rises, 14.00 an hour is rubbish money, most admins earn more than that

We all did it to feel less isolated during lockdown.

Not JUST because of that, obviously :joker: but it helped us all feel less alone.

My point is that , for whatever reasons , the majority were petrified and that’s why we appreciated the nurses risking their lives for a relative pittance… even you were !

We all can provide anecdotal evidence to back up our views on the severity or validity of Covid.

Me? It basically upended my life, I'm constantly fatigued, rarely have any energy, and it gave me joint pain. Before I was relatively healthy, drank water all day long, watched what I ate. Though I have underlying conditions tbf

Someone else I know did just have a cough and fatigue while he had it, but completely shrugged both off within a few weeks of having it

Different people reacted differently to it.

Maybe if it killed one of your family members you wouldn’t be such a c u n t

But considering you are one 24/7 on any subject you should rot

You are a scum bag LT

LT has gone down the covid conspiracy rabbit hole, so there is no point discussing the subject with him. People with underlying health issues were/are at risk from covid. That is a sizeable segment of the population.

I agree.

I sadly also hoped it would mean more true and fair appreciation across the board for the NHS staff.
Which never materialised from this more than usual hypocritical giovernment.

Yes however I agree fully with your post

Well we live in a close knit cul de sac so I knew exactly how others felt and I lived (and worked ) through the fear !!

We all did .. I sadly had to work throughout the lockdowns and wasn’t on a paid jolly like so many were ..

I honestly feared for our lives

When we went on walks I opened gates with gloves on as we were told it was spread on surfaces - plus look how many wore masks .. some wore masks when they were alone in their cars driving !!

Just another day on TiBB with LT

"Millions of healthcare workers all across the disk lied about the China Virus, never before in all 6000 years of Earth's history have we seen such a conspiracy - except Dinosaurs which Dr John Campbell told me have been carbon-dated as originating in the late 1970's!! And climate change, which was invented by an AI implanted into Windows 98 by Bill Gates. P.S. I hate black people."
