great magical tribute to 100 years of Disney

Nigel & Katya: don't disagree with low scoring, technique was a bit meh, was a entertaining performance, great homage to the original batman too 6

Angela & Kai: the right amount of quickstep content for a woman of her age, well done Kai for this clever choreography, a lot of moments in hold looked phenomenal, the quicker bits a bit messy although kinda fun to watch still, all in all great performance 7

Zara & Graziano: LMAO Craig and yes correct Shirley, Paso Doble is literally marching, walking dance, i thought compared to week 1 in her cha cha where she posed too much, she was much better in character now, great attitude too, great efforts at the shaping and trying to be in sync with Graz, good performance 7

Layton & Nikita: agree with Craig, danced way too aggressive, also looked kinda heavy, no for me 4

Angela & Carlos: omg yass, slay wow this was divine, amazing swivels, amazing characters on point all the way through, amazing for a non-actress, wow 9

Amanda & Giovanni: blonde suits her much better, also those backbends whew :dazzler: yum, and thank you Gio, this is a rumba exactly my cup of tea, classy, emotional, nothing too raunchy, filthy 8

Nikita & Gorka: flatfooted, lame kicks and flicks, couldn't see the difference either in both, i feel sad Les left last week now, this was silly 1

Ellie & Vito: magical, technically stunning and performance wise also very good 9

Bobby & Dianne: those hips are on fire, same levels as Kelvin's Samba, wow HOT HOT HOT 10

Jody & Jowita: i was in tears of this beautiful little performance :bawling: beautiful storytelling from a non-actor, stunning choreo as always from sweet Jowita :lovedup: 7

Eddie & Karen: agree with Shirley's 10, that streetdance technique was simply sensational and the performance was very good either 10

Annabel & Johannes: whew, me always likey likey a simple waltz done right, and this was done amazingly well, those heel turns, that frame, that look, gorgeous 8

Adam & Luba: same as with Nigel, technique was a little off, however made up for a enjoyable entertaining performance, tbh Adam more looked like a version of Mario portrayed by Pedro Pascal or something :laugh: it was good 7

Krishnan & Lauren: the surprise of the series remains surprising in a positive way, great performance 8

Kai is literally a perfect partner for her, playing into her strengths and this week i thought her acting was quite nice too, she did this character justice and we thought that hair colour, style suited her so well either :love:

3. Angela & Carlos: she didn't know this film, but charleston is one of her fave dances

6. Jody & Jowita: such a cute performance and lovely music
7. Krishnan & Lauren: she likes Cabaret a lot

as of next week she'll also do new season of her morning show Ripoff Britain so if she survives this week, chance of extra promo on that, likely also training backstage at the set there (like what most presenters have done in the past, Kym last year too on the set of Morning Live what i remember quite well)

they will give us a very simplistic waltz, brilliant song too, i remember Harry Judd danced to that too :think:



week 4 and we already had 3 slow waltzes then, compared to other recent years :flutter: now we need Angela Rippon to stay in long enough so she can also do her slow waltz


i think Amanda, Nigel can also do amazingly well with that one

Ellie & Vito - Samba - I thought that the dance was okay, nothing really stoodout about it for me, but she wasn't terrible either - 6/10

Adam & Luba - Waltz - To me this was really overscored, I honestly don't know what the judges were seeing tbh, I thought that it was stiff - 4/10

Jody & Jowita - Salsa - I feel like I have tried to be fair to Jody in the competition given that he is disadvantaged, however I feel like he could've done much better than he did with this dance, definitely his worst dance so far imo - 2/10

Amanda & Giovanni - Foxtrot - Foxtrot's aren't really my thing, but Amanda is consistently a solid dancer in the competition - 7/10

Krishnan & Lauren - Paso Doble - I personally found it to be really fun, I liked the routine and song choice, technically not the best dancer in the competition though - 7/10

Zara & Graziano - Viennese Waltz - Tbh I can't remember much about the dance so that's not a good sign - 4/10

Annabel & Johannes - Jive - I think that it's the first Annabel dance that I might actually remember - 6/10

Eddie & Karen - American Smooth - There's no way that this dance should be having Sex Bomb as the Music:joker: - 4/10

Layton & Nikita - Cha Cha Cha - A very confident performer which is good to see, imo one of the better dancers in the competition - 8/10

Nigel & Katya - Salsa - Nigel is probably the contestant that I'm liking the most so far (so he isn't likely to win) but I also did enjoy the dance, I think that the judges are a bit harsh on his dances after the first week, they always like to make digs at him whilst being softer on weaker dancers - 8/10

Angela S & Carlos - Viennese Waltz - It was an okay performance, she has done better in the past though - 6/10

Angela R & Kai - Rumba - It didn't really feel like a Rumba - 4/10

Ellie & Vito: no samba rolls whatsoever, it was a nice vegas showgirl act but not a samba, not her finest hour 5

Adam & Luba: proper beautifully danced waltz, loved it, this to me is what strictly is all about 9

Jody & Jowita: lifts were not very exciting either, no hips, no movement whatsoever, reminded me of Judy Murray's rigor mortis all of her journey on that dancefloor lol 1

Amanda & Giovanni: beautifully danced, but yeah she can let go some more pls, i am sure she is capable of selling a performance divinely well but this was decent 7

Krishnan & Lauren: this man keeps being full of surprises, wow wow wow, the commitment to that Paso character Juan, for a non-actor, non-dancer this was fab 8

Zara & Graziano: from the dance off last week to delivering that magical viennese waltz this week, well done it looked good and clever with the smoke to hide her footwork 7

Annabel & JoJo: with this hair style she reminded me of Emma Peel tbh, loved the theme, loved the cartwheel thingy, also in sync with each other, good energy for 57 whew, once again i loved another dance from sweet Annabel and lovely JoJo 9

Eddie & Karen: i actually liked the swing version for that song, i also disagree with Craig and Shirley, nowhere near a dance disaster in hold, i thought there was little to no gapping in hold and the out of hold moments were brilliantly showy, clever choreographed little thing 8

Layton & Nikita: a 10, seriously Motsi, also his legs could've been more straightened throughout the performance like all the way through, i saw some bend leg moments and in cha cha, needs a straightened leg action all the time, i hate disco latins this was cheesy overload for me, no thank you 4

Nigel & Katya: YUM YUM YUM, this is how i like my salsa's the most, traditional music YASSSSSSSSSSSS! not an overload of lifts, but also very nice variation in armography, loads of amazing hip action, as well as good musicality, well done 9

Angela S & Carlos: mediocre at best, i thought Zara danced the better of the two VW's this week, also not enough storytelling for me personally, danced by the numbers, bit generic

Angela R & Kai: what a masterpiece this was, and yeah Craig jessica lange vibes - freak show i think of her ''life on mars'' act, back to the rumba, amazing hips, footwork was GORGEOUS, the backbend move divine, as well as the finish pose with the burning wings behind her, couple of splits also amazing, whats not to love about this, from a 79 YR OLD :worship: absolute legend Never Too Picky its a10 from Nicky

Bobby & Dianne: am surprised those judges didn't mention it but he missed a few heel leads i paid close attention to his footwork, also this outfit wasn't a tango outfit, idk what i was watching anyway, bit overscored even if you ask me, no for me 2

My three favourite dances on the night came from Nigel, Layton & Ellie (great Music for Ellie's dance) although I would've liked it to have felt more like a Paso than a Tango, but in fairness it has been by far Ellie's most interesting dance so far imo.

alright my thoughts and i seriously disagreed with Craig quite a few times :idc:


Annabel & Jojo: was a good fun charleston, and there was swivel, and every other basic charleston content in there, also most of the time, very good in sync, i loved it 8

Nigel & Katya: its called swing and sway not jazz Craig :idc: more like a big band style, it actually reminded me of Star Trek TNG where Picard has this 50's style holonovel as detective Dick Tracy also with that suit and hat, in a good way it reminded me of that, i loved it, only one funny thing, indeed when he walks backwards, i see his eyebrows going up :joker: 9

Eddie & Karen: it was a nice afrobeat dance, but as a samba, i thought it could've been a bit looser somehow, i personally did not see much hip action, his enthusiasm was very infectious though, it was enjoyable but not a KO 6

Krishnan & Lauren: OMG, wow, i am speechless, to me it seemed like he was leading (compared to his foxtrot this was DIVINE) and that end air guitar bit amazing 9

Angela S & Carlos: i thought it was very smooth, this tune had me dancing along in my room, footwork looked very good either, finalist in the making more and more me thinks 9

Ellie & Vito: i first thought this will end up as a car crash with her size, but this was a SLAY, the shapings looked phenomenally A-MA-ZING 10

Layton & Nikita: how was this worth 39????? he's set up to fail big time a la Aston (Aston was way better either) predictable a high score, but still needs to prove himself in the slower dances and i'm not sure about that, especially now the bar is raised massively sky high, the only way is down from here i think 4

Bobby & Dianne: loads of gapping unfortunately, also having to look down in hold looks awkward, the footwork some errors there either, not enough storytelling for me tbh, not enough drive either, but tbh didn't expect that from someone as feminine as Bobby, snoozefest 2

Adam & Luba: YASS YASSS YASSS you guys made my dreams come true, Backstreet Boys Medley on Strictly, THE FLAVOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! technically this was very good, could've indeed danced more into the floor but all of the armography was as tight as possible, everything in sync, fab 9

Zara & Graziano: dancing by numbers, even the lifts were not as surprising, you could see them coming, footwork sloppy, storytelling non-existent 5

Angela R & Kai: gancho's i spotted a couple of them, very crisp and clean, every leg action looked HOT, passion was there, and yes Kate this is how you dance an argentine tango, very close to each other, this was fire, waited 35 years to do this, well it was worth the wait, you legend 10
