My opinion on last night's dances.

Angela S & Carlos - Paso Doble - Despite some mistakes, I think was one of the better performers on the night, it had an interesting vibe going for it which I appreciated.

Adam & Luba - American Smooth - I personally think that Adam had a very quiet night tbh, I'm not saying that he was the worst on the night, but I can't see him standing out with the general public with a routine like that.

Zara & Graziano - Charleston - Nothing personal against Zara, but she's just not very good imo, she seems likable enough but it's not Big Brother.

Layton & Nikita - Tango - There were a couple of issues that I had with Layton's dance this week.

1. I felt like the song didn't suit the Tango, it didn't have the right atmosphere for the type of dance that a Tango is imo. The song itself sounded pretty good tbf, but just not for this particular dance.

2. I feel like Layton has exposed himself at maybe not being as comfortable away from Party Latin numbers, hopefully I'm wrong and that he can be more versatile than I am currently giving him credit for.

Bobby & Dianne - Cha Cha Cha - When is this Show actually going to treat Bobby like an adult? We're six weeks in and he is still being treated like a 12 year old kid, it's getting really silly now that we're not seeing any improvement in his routines that the production are giving him. Assuming that he even gets through this week that is.

Krishnan & Lauren - Viennese Waltz - I like Krishnan, but I feel like he has done better in the past.

Angela R & Kai - Charleston - Tbf to her I think that she did okay, but the judges did also overscore her dance, which at this stage of the competition they're scoring her above much better dancers than her which is unacceptable. Plus the routine was the furthest removed from the Halloween theme by a country mile.

Annabel & Johannes - Tango - Annabel was a bit average this week imo, tbh Annabel is kinda like that most weeks to me, so I can't be too surprised.:laugh:

Nigel & Katya - Cha Cha Cha - Again underscored by the judges, they are seriously going to tell me that Adam, Angela R & Bobby were all either equal or better than him this week?:think:

Imo he should've been fighting Angela S for top of the leaderboard this week, closely followed by Ellie.

Ellie & Vito - Salsa - It was a decent dance from Ellie imo, I can see the favourtism from production, but it was a decent dance regardless.

She's upping her game from the 12 year old kid routine the last couple of weeks, hopefully she can keep it up.

i enjoyed last nights show


here's my feedback and scores

Angela S & Carlos: AH Swan Lake (absolutely ICONIC music if you ask me, i really loved this version too) this music and theme makes a good paso, i also saw the little hiccup/stumble tbh, nevertheless a good performance 8

Adam & Luba: ballroom excellence a la Michael Vaughan!!!!!! his best dance yet, one part wasn't in sync, i agree with Craig, when Luba was on the table, Adam was slightly late with moving to the right 8

Zara & Graziano: undermarked if you ask me, not a bad attempt at charleston and also keeping in mind her having gone through two dance offs already, knowing how unpopular she is with the public, nevertheless she gave us a very enjoyable performance, loved it 7

Layton & Nikita: lack of heel leads, yes thank you judges for now picking up on that (while ignoring it few weeks ago in Bobby's tango) this was good but wasn't a complete knockout either 8

Bobby & Dianne: first performance i enjoyed from him, good hip action although in places his legs could've been a little more straightened, good storytelling, loved the augmented reality effect of the evil witch too and them defeating her, turning into confetti, was great fun (Hansel & Gretel is one of my fave fairytales anyway here in my nation's theme park Efteling so maybe my bias) 9

Krishnan & Lauren: again undermarked, also clever of Lauren to go with a scarier viennese waltz rather than too romantic and sweet, given this weeks theme, i also saw he was trying his best at leading the dance (compared to week 1, week 2 where he was clearly following Lauren's screams and lipsynching to the music) now no lipsync at all, wonderful performance, and i love his journey 9

Angela R & Kai: you haters wanted more energy from La Rippon, well whew this was fantastic, amazing swivels indeed Craig, and yes charleston's main dance step is the swivel so good thing they perfected that, how brave of a 79 yr old to do such tricky lifts, i am speechless 10

Annabel & Johannes: not bad, and i'm more with Anton on this one, pure dance content is what strictly is all about, there were some mistakes okay, mistakes can happen on the night, tough luck, but yeah she kept going, good performance 7

Nigel & Katya: cha cha content wise, slightly better straightened leg action than Bobby, and tbh i don't mind the ''mistakes'' here, was more for the zombie moves so made sense to me, once again top notch entertainment from our best drama actor

Ellie & Vito: more loved this because of Vito, he reminded me of Lorne from Angel with this green make up and red hair!!!!!!!! OMG OMG OMG also this cheesy disco vibe is exactly the sort of music Lorne loved on that show, so i was more into thinking them as two characters from Pylea because of that :laugh: the lifts spectacular, the trick, phenomenal, one slight point of criticism, Vito was outdancing her a bit, Ellie could've given it that tiny bit more energy maybe but other than that, this was MEGA GEIL 9

my opinions and scores for last night

Krishnan & Lauren: i thought he gave it a good go, samba is a tricky dance for novices and i thought he didn't look too bad, i've seen worse, way worse 7

Bobby & Dianne: FINALLY some drive in his viennese waltz parts, compared to few weeks ago when he did regular viennese where it was lacking that, i enjoyed this, first dance i thorougly enjoyed from him 8

Angela R & Kai: 79 Yr Old Rippon goes Punk, and WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the shapings were very nice efforts, her leg was once again super sexy, flexy and divine, musicality also not that bad, not your typical paso tune, but they made this song fit well with a paso, well done 9

Nigel & Katya: dance of the night for me, they say gene kelly, i saw also bits of a fred astaire film in there, old hollywood at its finest, whew, love it 10

Ellie & Vito: nice rumba walks, lots of different steps in there too, Shirley is correct, not bad but rumba just isn't a standout dance to begin with 8

Annabel & Johannes: harshly undermarked if you ask me, also lots of praise but low scores, bore off, this was great 10

Angela S & Carlos: not bad, not wow either, stuck in the middle for me, did see gapping too, i agree Craig 7

Layton & Nikita: not gonna bother saying anything about them, judges pet, favouritism for mr dance school, ew ew ew, wish he'd give up already instead of ruining the show 1
