in contrast to Mock's thread

i love this year, so unpredictable, the judges scoring this time much much better, lower scores in early weeks, rather than recent years when we had too many 9's 10's already handed out

quite a lot of loveable couples too

Angela & Kai

Annabel & Jojo

Bobby & Dianne

Angela & Carlos

Eddie & Karen

Ellie & Vito

Nigel & Katya

Zara & Graziano

Krishnan & Lauren

whom all comes across as great pairings for me personally

loads of respect from me to Jason Gilkison so far again too for some amazing group numbers already  last nights Disney 100 tribute gave me goosebumps all over

my only point of criticism, put the sound up with the guest artists in the results show pls, last week i couldn't hear Jessie sing, too soft was her microphone sound

Lol, there's still overscoring. They have their pets. Angela R is the number one pet. She's just not that good.

what?

what are you expecting then from a 79 yr old?

her cha cha was quite decent for an oldie

her foxtrot was sensationally classy

and last night it was performed brilliantly

tbh Angela hosted several dance competitions apparently where Shirley had taken part in so that is why Shirley has a weak for judging her

I'm expecting her to be average, which she is. That's my answer. Shirley is very unprofessional in her voting.

I agree about the overscoring.

How anyone last night was getting higher than a 30 overall is a mystery to me.

It was a really below par night imo.

quit the negativity :idc: it was a good week, many original choices apart from that overused Grease stench

It wasn't, sorry

Most of the routines and even the music choices were poor.
There was in fact little to be positive about.

It's a movies week I wouldn't have missed.
It was very weak.

i'm the complete opposite to you then

technique wise maybe so, but performances wise it was very strong

music choices wise was very good, ok maybe some not the most known film choices but that is also what i myself like, getting to know music from films i haven't seen before, like that Damn Yankees, looks good fun
