Please discuss the nights events here.....
Layton wasn't as good tonight. Could a shock be on the cards?

Yes, the structure of the points could endanger any not in the top 2 or 3 with the judges.

That was an awesome performance for Nigel and Katya. Fabulous.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 07:50 PM

What does Shirley mean by very well.

Ballas Talks some tripe .
Acclaiming they did a really hard element then only gave 8.
Vanessa
25-11-2023, 07:55 PM
Best rumba I've seen so far. Underscored.
Kate!
25-11-2023, 07:56 PM
Are they trying to get him out or what? Pffft.
Kate!
25-11-2023, 07:57 PM
That wasn't bad. Well done Annabel.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 07:57 PM
Somehow I'm not keen on this Paso.
Not dramatic enough for me.
Kate!
25-11-2023, 07:58 PM
Nigel is the best so far tonight. I don't give a fig what the judges say.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 08:04 PM
Not worth 36.
It was to me just a more routine type dance, not a performance of a Paso.
Sorry Annabel.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 08:05 PM
Please Dave Arch don't ruin this song.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 08:07 PM
It was okay.
Kate!

Sorry Annabel.
Massively overscored. Nigel deserved all 9s. No mistakes and beautiful storytelling.
Kate!
25-11-2023, 08:12 PM
Annabel and Layton bottom 2 imo.
joeysteele
25-11-2023, 08:16 PM
Very touching.
Liked that.

25-11-2023, 08:18 PM
wow they threw Angela under the bus there, thought she was great
Kate!
25-11-2023, 08:18 PM
I know it meant a lot but it didn't appeal to me.

I had no idea what they were trying to convey storywise?

Same here Joey. I can't warm to a performance as much if I hate the music. It was alright.
joeysteele

It was a great routine.
The song seemed out of place all through.

I can't believe that Anton gave Annabel a 10:joker:
According to Entertainment Weekly's poll (I think it was) this is the results from their poll for this week.
Nigel 27%
Annabel 21%
Ellie 17%
Angela S 12%
Bobby 10%
Layton 10% (but slightly fewer votes than Bobby)
So basically the leaderboard is basically throwing Angela S to the wolves according to this particular poll, and they are normally fairly accurate.

Ellie was a clear 40!!!! Also Bobbys performance was so beautiful. Annabel is getting just better and better.

Bobby overscored to keep him out of the dance off this week so predictable
Layton danced way better than him (an actual dance compared to boring couples choice)
Nigel again undermarked as hell :bawling: i thought that rumba was superb
Nicky91

Shirley's crying after Bobby's CC was literally pathetic :laugh3: :laugh3:

Surely not dirty dancing one again for musicals week. There are hundreds of other musicals

so what, i see it now more as an extra week for Bobby, and tbh if it is his last hurrah on the show, what better way to go out with such an iconic dance and lift
at least he had his couples choice moment of magic now
and if he goes out now, only one week we won't see him, because we see all eliminated acts in the final too, in their group dance (already excited for that seeing my sweeties Jody, Krishnan again, and hopefully Amanda will also do that just to end her strictly journey on a more positive note, with a bit of her foxtrot maybe, i already know La Rippon will showcase her sexy legs again, but which one, her rumba or argentine tango or her murder she wrote charleston bit)

Omg again? Can't they use some different musicals?
I would love something old school like Guys and Dolls. Or Cabaret.

Nigel could be doing an AT to Phantom of the Opera (a la Davood)
knowing his luck of the order of his dances
i reckon they give Layton a Charleston where he can put his showdance skills yet again into, mr one trick pony (although his performances have been good promo for his musical theatre career so far :hehe:)
i'd rather want a waltz or rumba for him this week :fan: smth he can't be too showy in
Vanessa

Roxanne would be a perfect AT for Nigel and Katya. I love love love Moulin Rouge!
If they have Charleston then I would like Chitty chitty bang bang or Make them laugh.

i'm just happy Bobby avoided either Lion King or High School Musical i dreaded that just because he's the youngest and they also did that before to Claudia Fragapane in this particular week with her lion king salsa
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is a great charleston one, Patrick Robinson did that one so well :D and Katya is great with charleston choreo's, even the one with Mike Bushell looked decent and funny
