I've seen this on twitter. I often wondered if the stories they published were true or not. Some of them are of people who were already dead :eek:
Something dodgy for sure.

They have done some good as well, to be fair. But the charity is not registered. So we don't know where all that money is going....

Yeah to make it look legitimate - it sounds like he was keeping a pretty large slice of the donated money for himself.

There's nothing wrong with covering costs and taking a reasonable income if genuinely doing good (although I'd never personally donate to something not registered as a charity) BUT it sounds like he's been pocketing a bit more than a reasonable income.

I’ve never understood why charity shops are run by all volunteer staff yet they have area managers controlling 7 or 8 of them earning £80,000 pa
