Aljaz instead of Gio

Wtf they're dropping like flies!
that's what you get when u cast has been pro dancers in your line up :fan: and most who could also be on other reality shows, Graziano wouldn't be out of place in Love Island :laugh3:
not my problem, that they have a failure whoever responsible signing up pro dancers
most in german lets dance still compete in european and world dance championships too apart from Massimo Sinato i guess but tbh he is 45 yrs old, basically their ''Anton'' and also more a dance coach besides being a pro dancer
the one who flopped at lets dance was Nikita, therefore i was shocked he got signed up to strictly few years ago, since he failed big time with rapper Sabrina Setlur, also coming up with lacklustre back to basics routines, throwing his partner under the bus with too difficult techniques while she also coped with stage fright
also Motsi comes across better at lets dance than at strictly
the hosting duo too, i prefer Daniel & Victoria over Tess & Claudia
all the different theme weeks, impro dance and magic moments content is also fabulous
even die grosse profi challenge is amazing, also watched by many millions of viewers, which is just ''grosses kino'' to quote herr llambi, to see various dance showcases into wholesome movie like scenes
only thing what strictly has more is music guest performances, something lets dance doesn't care about, they think that is a waste of money in a dance show (sometimes they have a DSDS winner performing his/her winning song but that's it)

If he has kicked her then he has opened the door to be fired tbf.
Personally in these situations though unless it's either repeatedly happening, or the abuse is extremely severe, then I would prefer Graziano to be given a second chance.
Unless there is more to this story than what we've been preview too.

…I don’t understand, Mock…I would say that one kick is serious abuse enough to not warrant anymore chances…if it’s true that he kicked her then that’s all of the story completed to know that he shouldn’t be there…THE END as it were…

I get where you're coming from.
I think for me I'm used to Managers in Football throwing boots at players heads and still keeping their job for 20 odd years.
Also it does depend on was it a soft kick or did he really put the boot in for me.

weird that only the bad things happen at Strictly for some reason :laugh2:
i never liked Graziano anyway, and my gut feeling has once again been correct, how oversexed he is, wouldn't be surprised if he also is someone who sends dickpics
i predict Nikita to be the next one fired  i mean he was deservedly let go by RTL from Lets Dance, for having acted like a complete ******* towards his celeb partner Sabrina Setlur, let alone also throwing her under the bus with two extremely difficult routines

I'm saying that I'm interested to see if he has gone even further than the kick (which from what User has been saying, it looks like he has gone further,) and the Football comment was how Sir Alex Ferguson still kept his job at Man Utd after throwing a boot at David Beckham's head.
Because I was leaning on preferring Graziano getting a suspension, until the stomping allegation has been flying around.

my pro line up would be
males:
Aljaz Skorjanec
Gorka Marquez
Vito Coppola
Carlos Gu
Neil Jones
Pasquale La Rocca
Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Sergiu Luca
---------------------------
Dianne Buswell
Katya Jones
Ekaterina Leonova
Anastasia Stan
Lauren Oakley
Michelle Tsiakkas
Jowita Przystal
Karen Hauer
.
especially the males can use some changes tbh, for way more charismatic and sweeter hunks like Sergiu, Valentin, Pasquale those would really spice up the competition
and Ekat instead of Nadiya/Luba since those two aren't even coming close to what wonders the general can do with tall male celebs
quirky queen Nastia is moldova's own wonderkid a la Oti
and Michelle finally deserves her chance to shine

out of former pro's
we can rule out Trent, since he still works for the show (behind the scenes, as a co-choreographer besides Jason Gilkison) and we can also rule out Aljaz since he is confirmed as returning for upcoming series (if there were some doubts which i doubt because he's a very smiley happy guy)
doubt its the likes of Tristan, Artem either, don't think its Pasha or Kevin either, its not legends like Matthew Cutler, Darren Bennett either which would otherwise shock me a whole lot
AJ might be a lot of things (fame hungry) but no can't see him having been disrespectful towards his celeb partners (who always spoke very highly of him anyway so and still do)
leaves us with the following names
- Brendan Cole
- James Jordan
- Gleb Savchenko
whom all 3 of them could be possible
Nicky91
17-07-2024, 08:31 AM
Artem is a family man now with Nikki, and he is well respected also in the american version
same goes for Tristan, we really saw him blossom more in the american version, and he was a good partner for Jamelia, and his short lived spell with Jennifer Gibney
Pasha and Kevin always had great working relationships with their respective celeb partners honestly
why i easily rule them out
Brendan, James, Gleb are known for having broken the rules on the show multiple times with illegal lifts, easily throwing tantrums at bad criticism by judges, low scores by judges
…I don’t watch it but did the guy who was just in CBB leave…Nikita…?…is he still one of the professionals or….?…

no, he's still in the pro line up, so we can rule him out
pro's under contract with Strictly are allowed to do other reality shows as long as its doable in off season, to combine with pro group number rehearsals
many have also done Celeb Masterchef tbh
because well none of the pro's here compete in championships unlike the lets dance pro's whom basically are busy all year long, from february to may lets dance, summer the european and world dance championships, october/november/december lets dance live tour
i guess the pro's here misbehave out of boredom perhaps :joker: and not competing in championships for a long time is bad for you

Strictly has in recent years had a lot of false positivity going around imo, where everything is all rosy, but expressed in a really OTT way that never felt genuine to me.

Strictly’s first female pro dancer faces bullying accusations…
A female professional dancer has become embroiled in the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal, marking the first such accusation against a woman on the show.
The unnamed dancer is alleged to have bullied her celebrity partner, reportedly "screaming in the face" of the contestant when he struggled to master dance routines.
According to The Sun, a formal claim is being prepared and is set to be submitted to the legal firm Carter Ruck on Monday.
A damaging summer for the show has already seen male professionals Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni Pernice leave in acrimonious circumstances.
Carter Ruck is also said to be working on claims put forward by former female contestants including Amanda Abbington and Laura Whitmore.
Unlike Di Prima, however, who is said to have kicked his partner, the female in question is not thought to have been physically abusive.
A source told the Sun: “The man in question felt very much victimised by the behaviour of his Strictly partner.
“He alleges that on several occasions she flew into a real fury when he couldn’t get the steps right, and on one occasion screamed full in his face.
“They rowed every single day.”
They added: “He was left upset, struggling to sleep, and feeling isolated in the process. But even worse, he felt totally unsupported by Strictly.
“When he suffered the setback, it was clear he was struggling, but he felt there was no duty of care. After leaving the show, he was not contacted again, even by phone.”
The BBC has said it is working with the Met Police to get to the bottom of the complaints.
A statement added: “We will always listen if people want to make us aware of something or raise it with us.
"The BBC and BBC Studios take their duty of care extremely seriously.”

At least we're finally getting some claims about why Giovanni's behaviour is bad at long last.
And with the female pro, I'm sorry but I'll say for her what I still am holding out on with Giovanni, actual irrefutable proof of them doing or saying something heinous.
Because being unlikable (going by their claims) shouldn't warrant you being sacked or scrutinized to the same level as the guy that kicks and spits at his Celeb partner.

Now there needs to be at least other people that can back this claim up.

Tbf the Talent Show concept can be fun.
The main things that needs to be avoided here are the bullying (and in Graziano's case) the violence.
Because being brutally honest, would we have any industries left if every time there was trouble behind the scenes the organization/business has to shut down.
We need to not be too reactionary imo.

Umm No
like i said, don't hire too ambitious, too competitive pro dancers but more those who can tone things down for beginner celebrities
and also don't cast those with dance backgrounds (or at least nothing too obvious dance backgrounds, because hiphop background is completely different to latin/ballroom, Detlef Soost also had to start from scratch at lets dance this year and he also said how he struggled first few weeks of training how you got much more rules in latin and ballroom compared to hiphop or michael jackson music video choreographies)

Strictly: the allegations so far
Fiona Phillips
Footage has emerged of Strictly professional dancer Brendan Cole slapping the former GMTV presenter on the rear during rehearsals in 2005.
Laila Rouass
The actress’s then dance partner, Anton Du Beke, said she looked “like a p---” after she got a fake tan during her time on the show in 2009.
Fern Britton
Britton claims she was “kicked and shoved” by professional Artem Chigvintsev during rehearsals in 2012, which he has denied.
Steve Backshall
The British explorer reportedly complained to the BBC that dancing pro Ola Jordan “bullied” him during his run in 2014 and he compared her to a “drill sergeant”.
Laura Whitmore
The presenter says she was “extremely uncomfortable” dancing with Pernice and “cried every day”.
Anneka Rice
Rice revealed that she was left “depressed and needed three months of physio” after her appearance in 2019.
Will Bayley
The Paralympian says he suffered “life-changing” injuries after he was pushed by pro Janette Manrara to jump from a table. A representative for Manrara said: “Her celebrity partner’s safety and enjoyment was always the priority throughout her time on Strictly. Janette has never received any complaints.”
Ranvir Singh
The Good Morning Britain presenter says she was “scared” of Pernice when partnered with him in 2020.
Zara McDermott
The former Love Island contestant was kicked by her pro partner Graziano Di Prima during rehearsals last year. He has been forced to leave Strictly and has moved back to Italy.
Amanda Abbington
The Sherlock actress claims she was left with PTSD after her treatment by Pernice in 2023. The BBC has launched a misconduct probe. Pernice says he has “always rejected any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour”.

Sorry but the majority of these complains just sounds like celebrities signing up and not expecting to be pushed hard by professional, champion dancers, oh you were shouted at? You felt ‘bullied’? Grow up, everyone and their mothers know dancers and trainers don’t mess about when it comes to training people, if you can’t handle the pressure or being worked hard, you shouldn’t sign up

am surprised Widdebeast doesn't complain, oh wait, sitting around and being carried around isn't exactly being worked too hard on :hehe:

Hasn't Anton already apologized over that scandal? It's very pathetic that it's being dragged back up over a decade later. Especially when he has already apologized over it years ago.
And Ola like Giovanni I will defend here, all that's being said about them is that they're strict/possibly unpleasant people behind the scenes, that alone shouldn't warrant all of this that's going on.
After all the dancers do have to encourage some standards for their contestants, because the judges certainly don't.
The other scandals I am willing to more than hear out personally, as there's definitely room of doubt in my mind about what was going on in some of these scenarios.

…I’m assuming and hoping that the training is all on video for all….as with the Zara and Graziano incidents and how ‘kicking/spitting’ was exposed in a watched vid…that should have always been and should always be in place because then differentiating and identifying ‘unacceptable’ is not left to any interpretation….its also an important and basic thing to have those videos for the safeguarding of the pro dancers as well as for the celebrities…so that neither are vulnerable to any possible inaccuracies…

Obviously people shouldn't be saying such horrible things to anyone really.
Personally I have no personal issues with Amanda, all I want is for her to give me something that Giovanni did that should be warranting such bad publicity for the guy? And for most people I think that is the case for them as well.
Obviously the freaky death threats people should be ashamed of themselves, especially adults doing it.
