I'm gonna do the Strictly prediction game on here. Was gonna give it a miss this year but I've decided I'd like to keep the tradition and hopefully get a few taking part. With it being such a great cast and everything. X

No need to formally sign up, just please predict each week and I'll keep a tally.

It would be helpful if you could include the week number with your predictions if possible please? So for the first elimination please put week 2. And so on.

You are predicting the bottom two and who goes home each week. 10 points for each correct guess. Plus 10 extra if you get all 3 correct.

Also for starters can you please do an early winner prediction, which if you get it right will be worth 30 points at the end of the series. I'll keep a record in the OP.

what we know is

Nick had been cleared to go to training yesterday, and this morning he'll undergo a final check up, so maybe in the afternoon we might know more unless they'll reveal the news more in the evening on ITT


which dance will he have

1) his movie week Charleston routine since he already knows most of that, so easier to go through some basic steps in a few days

2) if Charleston is too demanding for his current condition with his knee and arm, a back to basics slow waltz to a traditional music piece for example: moon river or what a wonderful world is also easy to learn in a few days

3) or Nick gets Ugo'd, and gets the rumba to a basic easy listening song (like Bruno Mars leave the door open was) with little or not much movement but letting Luba shine around him, same what Ugo did with Oti their last performance


mere speculation but that's all we can do for now

this is clearly not a Will Bayley 2.0 scenario, because if his injury was too severe the doctors could've already not cleared him to go to training yesterday ;)


or also not similar to Nigel's, where Nigel's injury was too severe for him to continue (also after rehearsing a charleston coincidentally, would've been a great routine i saw Mark Keller & Kathrin Menzinger with their charleston to that exact mary poppins song on lets dance this year btw, and i can say we missed out on something gorgeous which could've potentially made Nigel a contender i think)

oh and have u seen the news about the November 2nd show? Icons Week a new theme week in light of 20th anniversary celebrations, one particular week for musical icons to pay tribute to them through many different dances

I want Shayne out personally as he comes across unlikable to me personally.

with these many ties on the leaderboard last saturday i was almost certainly expecting him in the Bottom 2 but clearly he has appeal to a good bunch of the viewers


and at 30 points on the leaderboard, that must've meant he would've at least had around 7 or 6 points from the public, since that middle zone especially with ties is a enormously dangerous position to be around

his quickstep was done nicely with a ''slapstick'' version in the charleston sections


Wynne has Katya and that is a massive advantage honestly, i mean Katya even lifted Ed Balls, Mike Bushell to new heights with her choreography skills


not my problem that Nikita, Gorka got exposed for being too dull and basic in terms of creativity



Dianne is the one who also works wonders currently with Chris despite him not being able to see at all, i don't notice that whatsoever, how solid his dance abilities are



Lauren literally did already better with JB in one week compared to all those weeks he danced with Amy :hehe: so Lauren deffo deserves to stay in the line up instead of Amy if you ask me




strong debut year for Michelle as well, very innovative, creative choreo ideas, very refreshing to see

That's a shame.

Tbh Kate, I think that the series overall quality hasn't helped gain traction to this thread.

Speaking for myself, the Show keeps eliminating the people that I would prefer to watch, and I don't just mean Sam or Jamie either.

It's hard to be enthusiastic about most of the people left on the Show.
