He was asked whether he would do Love Island but said no.

I think we knew he thought Big Brother was some kind of youth camp before learning otherwise - he also mentioned that in the house. He was told to watch some previous episodes before going in but decided not to.

Zak from last year attended the same gym as him and told him he should do modelling.

I think if even one of a number of various little factors had gone differently he would be there, and would have a very strong chance of winning it. (I think he and Ali would’ve been the final 2 easily.)

Honestly it’s making it hard for me to even buy into the final 6 as they are bc it seems so obvious Khaled should be there (And I’m - mostly - not saying this from a place of bias. EG. I’d have loved Lily to be in the final and feel she deserves to be there, but I know that was never going to happen in a series reliant on VTE. With Khaled it feels like a combo of total fluke & producer interference led him to be evicted sooner than he would’ve been had things been allowed to develop more organically.)

I hope if the show gets renewed they at least do away with the HoH stuff and switch to VTS

He didn’t see tonight’s show. Did do a defence of Hanah and Segun’s relationship - nothing we haven’t heard before. It feels like he may be slightly leaning towards Hanah winning and he and Tom had a deeper discussion about their relationship from her. Even when they feel she’s in the wrong they end up apologising to her and she play fights dirty, sometimes attacking when their back is turned, thinking the fight is over.

Thomas wants Ali or Marcello to win. It might just me, but Khaled seems to be quiet or moves the subject on when Ali’s mentioned. Both are slightly annoyed at Thomas was basically cut out of existence, as he was a laugh and did a lot in there, in their opinion. Thomas laughed his head off when someone asked in his chat about whether Khaled’s stories were that boring. Khaled knew he was doomed when the blankets came out, but someone had called him over for a story in the first place. The feeling is Khaled came across as glum, or drama edit, on the show whilst Thomas was just non-existent.

Thomas feels Nathan and Rosie is real. Khaled just brought up his discussion with Rosie on his eviction night. He says the housemates generally left them to themselves.

Sleep was impossible in the house. Khaled was honoured to hold up the scarf post eviction, and he didn’t get in trouble for it. It has a special nice but I don’t want to risk spelling it wrongly on here.

I’m sad to hear Khaled maybe changes the subject when Ali’s mentioned - I’d gotten the impression they were on good terms, especially because on the livestream that last week they were both quite affectionate with one another. Maybe his feelings have changed based on what he’s seen now he’s out of the house? I really wanted them to be friends :(

There were no questions about her last night. Thomas brought her up a couple of times, in relation to "to win" and her fanbase. Khaled did acknowledge that she has a large fanbase but didn't go much further than that. To be balanced, he didn't really say much about Marcello either, when Thomas brought him up, though did include him in the 'core' early on.

Yeah, I don’t think we can really assume much from this. I’m sure he has conflicting feelings about Ali, which would be expected. I did see on his IG yesterday someone had commented that they wanted Hanah or Ali to win and he replied ‘2 of the strongest finalists!’ He didn’t have to reply to that and doesn’t reply to most comments, so it’s not like he’s totally avoiding acknowledging Ali at all.

I think it's a very delicate balance for him to strike. He obviously has a very good bond with Thomas so doesn't want to upset him by saying too much against Ali - and he may also be conscious of what last year's housemates have said about social media fallout, so doesn't want to add to or start a pile on.

I think ‘he should never trust her’ is a bit extreme. I think it’s a case of talking to her outside and seeing how things are then. It’s always going to be hard to fully trust someone inside the house, but he’ll get a better sense of how she feels outside. Personally I think she genuinely is fond of him now. I do also think there are some things she needs to apologize to him for and I’m not sure she realises that/will be able to do so.

People say this as though it’s a sign Ali is a total bitch or something, but the reality is she just doesn’t click with a lot of people in the house. I don’t think that means she doesn’t care about them. It’s similar to being stuck in a confined space with family members or coworkers you don’t have much in common with. You might not actively like them or choose to spend time with them of your own volition, but you don’t dislike them, and you still care about their well-being.

And this was always likely to be the case for Ali because she’s an autistic person w ADHD in a house largely full of neurotypical people. I’m also autistic and ADHD and the reality is it’s just difficult for us to connect with neurotypical people and vice versa. If you threw 1 neurotypical person into a house largely full of neurodivergent people they’d struggle in a similar way. (I’d watch that!)

Add to that that most of the people in the house, especially at this point, come from pretty different social/political backgrounds to Ali and it’s not really a surprise.

Not to derail this thread for Khaled, but the endless Ali hate, on almost every thread regardless of the topic, is just a bit tiring. These are all human beings, not two-dimensional figures.

To bring it back on topic - do I think Khaled is someone she’d choose to be friends with on the outside? Probably not. That doesn’t mean she can’t have developed a genuine warmth and affection for him within the house, and I do think she has. I think she misjudged him initially, acted poorly at times, gradually got to know him and warmed to him. People’s feelings for other people change all the time.

Same, I’m like ‘here we go again… 🙄’ I don’t think I’ve ever known adults to call one another ‘fake’. Is this just something that happens to you when you enter the BB house?

And yeah it’s definitely a word where I’m like….well what does that mean? In the context of this show it seems to mean someone who a) isn’t 100% truthful and sincere at all times, and/or b) someone who is aware they’re on TV and makes a strategic choice even once. A few people brought that up on yesterday's live. He seemed a bit non-plussed by it though said Emma has mentioned it a few times to it whilst in the house. I don't think he's met Emma's daughter yet; perhaps tonight at the final?

He, Thomas and maybe Lily will be going by train. He hadn't sorted out his final outfit yet. They tried to get Lily involved in the live but she was busy fake tanning!

Nothing extra on Hanah and Segun. He had missed last night's show. Thomas hadn't, and both were slightly worried about the impact on the core. Both want to have a core live chat after the final, though Marcello is apparently banned from TikTok and Thomas, for some reason, now has a temporary ban as well.

He brought people on to ask him questions. Nothing too deep for the most part, though he mentioned about his boxing training and controlling his emotions helped him stay calm through the Nathan situation. Excluding the core, he felt closest to Emma and Ryan in the house. He did speak a little more about Ali, and said they were on better terms when he left the house.

His inspiration is Muhammad Ali whilst he'd like to meet with Joe Rogan (as he speaks to people from various backgrounds on his podcast), Mike Tyson (which might show how events which happened before Khaled was born have been forgotten by society) and Michael Bipsing. The caller who asked him the question said he definitely had a type which is true - he's into UFC/MMA/boxing.

I should have been brave enough to put my hand uo and ask him about Marcello's head of house choices and his relationship with Sarah, two things I'm interested in hearing more about, but I preferred to stay silent.

I think the main issue was how she reacted when he spoke to her about it. I agree they seemed to be really close, and then as soon as he was (understandably) upset with her comments, she did a 180 on him. And he handled being upset well imo - he gave himself time to process, when she questioned him about it he just said he needed a bit of distance, and then explained to her calmly why he felt upset. And in response she didn’t give much reassurance or understanding, complained in the DR that he had upset her by saying that he’d been upset by something genuinely unkind that she’d said, then nominated him and immediately forgot he’d even been evicted! It was an alarming change of feeling imo. Felt like she discarded him as soon as he dared to just say ‘hey, something you said upset me’.

It’s one of my absolute pet peeves when someone turns it around and says ‘this person was in the wrong because they upset me by speaking to me about something hurtful I did’. Nathan and Marcello do it often too. Ali did it to an extent with Khaled too, though their situation felt a bit more complex to me. Lots of people in this house who are incapable of holding themselves accountable for their actions!

Add to that the ‘stop the gloats’ comment and it’s not surprising if he feels quite differently about her now. (Especially as a refugee that comment would be most relevant to him.)

They did seem very close so it’s sad the way things developed.

I think it was partly Ali still seemingly questioning him in her winner's interview when she said she was pleased things had been cleared when he left coupled with the very obvious Hanah and Segun fallout, which has probably gone beyond even his worst expectations. He was planning to do a TikTok live on Sunday - hopefully he still does.

I think he will feel disappointment that he left the house and things were all sorted with Ali so he thought. She still seemed judgey on him. Plus AJ and Will did that "point scoring" comment which was not needed.

The way Khaled is outside the house seems the same as he was in it to me.

I don’t think she was trying to criticise him, she was just trying to explain where she was coming from, but it does seem like she doesn’t understand what was wrong with her treatment of him and doesn’t regret it/isn’t holding herself accountable. I know on his eviction interview, based on them telling him she had been defending him, he thought that she had held herself accountable, so I’m sure he’s disappointed by that. I was watching it like…for the love of god Ali, just say you regret it 😫

I definitely don’t think she realises how much that whole thing upset Khaled, which is ironic because she could tell he was upset by other people’s comments! You know I’m a fan of Ali, but I think she has a huge blind spot when it comes to seeing the issues in/consequences of her own behaviours, which is certainly my least favourite thing about her and frustrating to watch.

I think the thing with Khaled and Ali that’s been sad to me, especially as someone who’s a fan of both of them, is I think in a lot of ways they’re actually quite similar and could get on well on that basis, but they communicate in such different ways that they’re doomed to just constantly misunderstand one another.

I would love it if she did so but I don’t have high hopes. (And if she spoke to him privately we might never know anyway). Now that the show’s over I don’t know whether he would broach the subject with her or just let it go at this point. Thinking back to his interview, he looked so chuffed when they told him she’d been defending him - I actually think he really took her judgement of his character to heart and that it would mean a lot to him to hear an apology.

Yeah I’d imagine the Segun/Hanah situation has upset him. They’re his closest friends from the house and he won’t want their friendship to deteriorate. He also might be worried as to how Hanah feels towards him after seeing that clip.

So many people were asking Khaled to ask the question and I'm sure it was the same on Hannah's chat as well, but they ignored them which suggests he was someone they mutually agreed not to discuss. Khaled brought him up once in passing - I think when mentioning an incident when Hanah kicked Segun in the head - but that was it.

Thought they were brilliant together though. Wish we could have seen more of their relationship in the house.

The gutting thing is even on Live Feed near the end of Khaled's time in the house they were basically muting every conversation he had. If it wasn't Nathan and Rosie or Ali they weren't that interested.

:) It was such a shame the last Friday eviction before the final was between Ali, Emma, Khaled and Lily (as well as Rosie) as I think the unbracketed four would have made up the top four given the chance.

Khaled's recorded an interview with BBC Radio Manchester. He's not sure, but thinks it will air tomorrow at 8am.

Khaled held another live last night. He switched from TikTok to Instagram half way through, randomly. He's looking to set up something on boxing and fitness in the near future.

There wasn't really anything new which was Big Brother related. Did explain the importance of peace and caring for others within Islam, however, which is ignored by some and not reported in the press. Hanah gave him spiritual guidance whilst in the house, and he enjoyed getting to know more about Christianity via Segun.

His next live will be early next week.

Also, any help to keep Khaled's numbers up on the +/- game would be much appreciated. I am now outnumbered!

To clear up his job situation - he had to leave his sales manager job to go into the house. He is modelling though, and did a shoot for Nemesis on Friday. There's a video posted from them of him introducing himself.

He'd also like people to get in contact if they can help him with voluntary work to fundraise for Lebanon and Palestine.

Also, my ulterior motive, any help in the +/- game would be appreciated. At the moment, it looks like he'll finish fourth, but a couple of continual pro-Khaled players will help that. :blush2:

That is good the modelling is continuing. Can see him doing well, would love him to do a podcast but I expect most of the other housemates are thinking similar also. I have played in the +1 game but now it is every 2 hours I am not on as much as other posters. 4th is a decent result. I also think Emma, Hanah and Sarah are decent housemates. Think Emma will win overall but would love a Khaled top 3.

Thomas visited Khaled in Manchester today. They tried to do a live but we're travelling so the reception wasn't great. They've got such a natural bond, though. A reel was posted on Instagram but I have no idea how to post it!
