I really don’t know! I suppose I feel like he seems to be holding back his full feelings/opinions a lot of the time, which might lead to insincerity. But it’s hard to tell without knowing what’s going on in his head. You’re right that when it comes down to it he can be quite direct about his feelings towards people, which I appreciate - but I think he would avoid doing so if he didn’t think it was necessary

I still really like Khaled he is one of the most genuine and nice guys in the house. Nice to see Izaaz back him also and say he has talked about his home and what is happening there with people he is closest to. ....Nathan just isn't that person. Is it bad that I'm quite liking Ali and Khaled's growing bond? And, even though if it's through gameplay or guilt, Ali is at least standing up to Nathan over him. Mind you, so are Emma and Rosie.

I wish viewers could see individual people instead of getting so swept up in alliances and groups. I am slightly astonished that Rosie seems to be the target, Lily aside, rather than Ali. I mean, I like her but I'll go with it if need be. At least that will be that for the showmance.

I think the reason is because the people who hate Ali also hate Lily and they hate Lily a bit more. Most of them are also casual viewers who are a bit too stupid to split their vote, so it feels like a losing battle if we aim to get them both evicted

I just watched that and frankly I can’t make head or tails of what’s going on. I do think though that they both come across pretty badly in that clip, which…does make me wonder if it’s intentional on the part of the producers and could bode poorly for Khaled if others feel the same. A week or so ago Khaled was much more popular with the public. After all of that I felt he deserved to win (or at least get to the final) to see that he is loved by the public and we don’t all just see him as fake and superficial. Now awful Nathan’s going to feel so smug and vindicated ��

Absolutely - I think Khaled is just a really kind, thoughtful, sweet, genuine guy. I also do find him interesting and he has a goofy side to him that I enjoy. I don’t think the HM’s criticisms come from nowhere - he does always feel to me like he’s on his best behaviour and concerned with how he’s coming across, but I don’t think that comes from a ‘fake’ or malicious place, I think it comes from genuinely wanting to be a good person and to treat people well. And sure, maybe he’s a bit vain, but I don’t think that’s a character flaw. (Wouldn’t we all be looking in those mirrors regularly if we looked like that?!) I do think a lot of the housemates’ issues with Khaled stemmed from their own jealousy and insecurities. (Not saying that was the only thing, but it definitely seemed to play a part.) And Nathan just cannot deal with anyone calling him out (even kindly) for his behaviour. Lovely that he and Izaaz have already caught up. I wish he was going to be on Late and Live all week. I'd even accept Lily being there for that. I do wish we saw more of their developing bond during their final few days, even though they're clearly polar opposites.

I think they could have done a better job of asking him questions he could have a go at answering rather than putting him on the spot - particularly when it came to Hanah and Segun. He's the perfect person to answer about how faith would play a part but they basically ignored him and went to the audience on that one.

Because L&L enjoy dumbing things down and making it about gossipy surface level stuff . But I agree... Khaled's input in the faith aspect would have been good.

Even an audience member called out how Nathan was trying to make it more simple than it is, as Nathan hasn't got a clue really. He acted as if Segun & Hanah's religions are like as easy as changing an outfit.

And it might cause issues with the respective families if they do take it further. It's something which feels more real than Nathan and Rosie. I'd say it could be down to the edit, but the evicted housemates seem to be saying the same thing.

It wasn’t much, just a couple stories asking people their thoughts on the episode as he was watching. I was sharing more in case anyone wanted to respond to his stories during the next few episodes, since he said he was planning to continue doing it. Usually I feel a bit weird replying to celebrities/well-known figures, feels too familiar/presumptuous, but he was directly asking for responses & said he was reading every one and really enjoyed hearing people’s thoughts, which I thought was sweet.

Yeah, I always think it must be so bizarre to be living intimately with people for that time and then to come out and find a million strangers all talking about you and the people you were living with as though they know you, and from a different vantage point. Especially that first time on L&L, you can tell it’s always a shock!

I’m not sure if they’re not allowed to mix with the outside world, as we know that’s not the case for people who are booted out earlier. But I assume he’s in a hotel in London for this week for L&L and the finale.

I did watch a few of those vids. I’ve often thought learning to box would be fun, and definitely wouldn’t mind Khaled as a teacher :’)
