Ben: i myself thought he was harshly undermarked by the judges, for someone who doesn't have a perfect posture for such a fast latin as jive, i thought despite not technically amazing, he saved the performance with his musicality, timing, and lots of personality, i think Malika is the right pro for him, he seems like such a sweetheart too :love:

Marc: overmarked by judges i thought, very wooden, apart from that breakdance signature move of his then but idk, also he seems kinda full of himself

Osan: not already the GRANDMOTHER shoutout in a launch show, his grandmother Heidi watches this show since series 1, but anyway as for how he got on with the jive, meh, could've been better, but could've also been way worse, bit in the middle

Osan & Christina: not surprised they were eliminated, this was dire, no expression/emotion in his face whatsoever, also dancing by the numbers, it was stiff but in a bad way rather than with the attack required in a tango, the tango argentino part well half danced gancho's, crap 1

Diego & Ekat: Ekat in a SEXY Catsuit :drool: Yes PLS, also Diego has potential, and personality wise i am liking what i see from him, i had expected someone more smug as he is quite privileged etc, nice New Kids on the Block too 6

Marie & Alexandru: jive wise this was a bit on the wooden-ish side for me, but tricks wise this was entertaining, focus more on the basic content too pls is what i would want to see next week 5

Simone & Evgeny: a solidly performed waltz but at the end of the day a waltz is just a waltz, nothing groundbreaking but just decent 6

Roland & Kathrin: UNDERSCORED like massively, the Tony Manero from Bonn, bore off stupid judges :idc: it was a nice idea by Kathrin to get him to bring out his inner Travolta, also quite a nice disco cha cha all in all 6

Paola Maria & Massimo: two italians dancing a waltz to a french classic, WHEW only can happen on this show, cute performance but her nerves kinda got the better of her maybe 4

Sandra & Zsolt: how can this queen dance stunningly the way she does despite not having the posture for this, WOW WOW WOW 8

Marc & Renata: judges pet confirmed officially now for 100% only cuz he is besties with the husband of Heidi Klum, and Heidi's brother in law :skull: 3

Marc & Renata: MARC YOU HAVE ARRIVED! WOW WOW underscored, this was PERFECTION Charleston No.5 gets a well deserved 11 from me

Christine & Valentin: as Len would say YUM YUM Pig's Bum, now that was a rumba of old hollywood levels, also great choreography/setting with the diner 9

Sandra & Zsolt: criminally undermarked, no way was this a 4, fatshaming too from Llambi somehow :mad: this was fast, light footed and certainly not heavy this was a enjoyable performance too 9

Marie & Alexandra: Magalenha is the perfect samba song and yet again this has been proven, wow stunning routine 10

Fabian & Anastasia: for me personally not as great as Marc's charleston, unlike what juries said, but it was still quite good 9

as i thought in team Pineapple, Paola Maria was not in sync with the rest of her teammates

in Flamingo i thought even Ben did give it a good go to try and remain in sync with the rest

Marie & Alexandru: divine and great fun charleston, i was blown away! wow 10

Christine & Valentin: i was absolutely in tears of this lovely contemporary, great theme as two clowns, also very refreshing either to see a contemporary not being danced barefoot, this was GORGEOUS 11

Jeanette & Vadim: the futuristic robot concept was a good idea, but poorly executed i thought, it wasn't everywhere as staccato as it needed to be, but not the worst of the evening 6

Paola Maria & Massimo: knew they would be eliminated, also slightly overmarked for my liking, this was very mediocre 3

Taliso & Patricija: massively overmarked if i'm honest, okay that he can't see much, but zero chemistry between these two, that kiss too was so cringe and too forced for my liking, it took too long before they got going with the actual jive, flatfooted in places 1

Simone & Evgeny: not surprised she was the bottom two with the public, this was a quite forgettable foxtrot, not bad and happy she made it through one more week but still very forgettable 5

San Diego & Ekaterina: quite undermarked, as the basic rumba content technically was danced quite well, but judges have an obsession with dancing sexy and raunchiness for some reason, i respect Diego for not dancing it too sexy, with another woman in front of his girlfriend and his mother in the audience, i was feeling worried for a slight moment since he was bottom of the leaderboard but am happy he survived 7

Fabian & Anastasia: his weakest dance to date, i am angry at those judges labelling him as a contender few weeks ago, the pressure really got to him here, everything was too pedestrian, even for a paso doble, also the spanish lines weren't extended entirely 5

Sandra & Zsolt: how can Llambi say that she needs to be lifted, does Llambi want Zsolt to end up with a back injury, you don't necessarily need to do lifts though, lifts are like pyros, just a bit of fastfood content for the show act decoration, i thought it was danced nicely, doing enough to survive i guess 7

Marc & Renata: there was a lack of chemistry in this contemporary for me personally, also a mismatch with the story they were telling and Marc, i mean as if Marc struggles with insecurity, if he is besties with Tokio Hotel band members one of whom is the husband of Heidi Klum, then u ain't insecure if you are that popular, everything was also danced with too much posing going on towards the audience rather than seeing them dance together towards each other 3




next week Top 9, individual routines + a first time Jury Challenge, whom make groups of 3, select music and then the 3 couples of them can create a choreography and whichever dance style they want to include depending on what music they got

Diego has a fanbase that has been proven these last 2 weeks now, and again so undermarked, his contemporary i preferred to Taliso's (also Taliso from crappy weeks to suddenly high praise and 10s like why? i also didn't get why he had to wear a blindfold if he is blind)

Diego has a hard time expressing his emotions, so he for sure did well last night with a dance which main ingredient is emotion, he and Ekat worked hard :clap1:


Jeanette was too much faffing about in that Jive, and the jive content we did see was mediocre yes :laugh: was a good choreo though by Vadim

Christine was a bit dull this week :(



Sandra Samba looked good fun, although that colour pink is not my cup of tea at all

Christine & Valentin: i had been a fan of Oli Pocher & Christina that series yes, i do have to respect Christine's efforts in the parts which had been originally done by the professional, now by a celebrity, which looked decent enough in my opinion


Simone & Evgeny: more emotion factor than anything else with this rumba i guess, on her 60th BIRTHDAY doing one of her daughters dances with her daughter also in the audience, while it was vice versa all those years ago, with Simone back then in the audience for Sophia & Massimo, but dance wise again very meh


Fabian & Anastasia: first Perfect 30 of the series! wow, he danced it even better than René did, including those tricks, also nice seeing Fabi's dad Wolfgang in the training VT, whom also had been his coach in his career, nice to know Nastia's father is also a gymnastics coach :love: love how Nastia said after the performance ''damn your incredibly difficult choreo's, Menzinger'' :laugh:


Jeanette & Vadim: also a quickstep, and even more pressure performing directly after a perfect score routine, was well danced i thought

Sandra & Zsolt: second Perfect 30 of the series! that nina hagen music choice remains super ICONIC especially combined with that charleston, YAS :dance:

Marie & Alexandru: not her best, not her worst either, the cha cha cha is a crap dance anyway, with all those strange straight leg actions, i thought she did well


Diego & Ekat: screw you Llambi ahead of the music, rather ahead of the music in a charleston than behind the music in my opinion, there was loads of strong and fast swivel content, backward and forward swivels, lots of great acting work done for a non-actor, and such great chemistry either, love these two :love:

Taliso & Patricija: doesn't even come close to Jimi Blue :facepalm: and once again overmarked, it lacked any form of passion, commitment to the performance's story, it was danced by numbers throughout you could see him counting, i also thought even for a tango, it was too stiff in the wrong way for my liking, you need more stiffness with attack, rather than just dancing like a broom

Fabian kinda crashed down to earth with two underwhelming routines

a too flat Salsa, and a perfect tango choreography wise but poorly executed from his side

well my thoughts

Fabian & Anastasia

Magic Moment: a tribute to all of his olympic medal wins, especially lighting the olympic flame moment was nice in this routine at the end :love:

Streetdance: he did the best he could've but in the end Marie just was one big slay so he got outdanced


Christine & Valentin

Magic Moment: super cute she got to pay tribute to her father, with such a tearjerker of a tune as well

Bhangra: i personally thought she danced it better than Sandra, lesser aggressive but with more feeling, and also more rhythm


Sandra & Zsolt

Magic Moment: loved her dancing for her mom (whom was also in the audience) and loved the group hug with her sisters at the end

Bhangra: it was overmarked for my liking, too robotic and too aggressively danced, but that is my personal opinion


Diego & Ekat

Magic Moment: he danced for his recently passed away grandfather, to such an iconic tune from the film Interstellar, loved the viennese waltz content in there, as well as some nice fierce tango bits, and he moves soooo smoothly, gliding across the floor, and those lifts, WOW from a novice to a dancer, Go Diego Go! also so much emotion for someone who struggled in the past expressing himself in public

Flamenco: BOOOOOOO Llambi BOOOOO, i thought he gave it a decent effort at a flamenco demonstration, not a performance i know, but it is about basic content in a dance duel, and i thought he looked very slick, and clean execution of all steps and hand clapping moves, yes i loved his take on the flamenco

Marie & Alexandru:

Magic Moment: basically 7 dances mashed into one routine, a tribute to her career as hollywood stunt performer, with some mission impossible bits, some bond bits, and also at the end bit of her princessy side, liked it

Streetdance: SLAY! also to what a tune by eminem houdini :love: she ate up fabian for breakfast, lunch and dinner :)


Taliso & Patricija:

Magic Moment: about his gold medal at the Paris 2024 paralympics basically, it was too much contemporary for my liking, and not enough variety of dance content, where music wise, there could've easily been a paso doble bit in there or tango

flamenco: it was decent, but Diego was better, shame on Llambi not seeing that how heavy footed Taliso danced this

i'm happy with Massimo for our Diego and Ekat's trio dance, Ekat and Massimo already worked together in the profi challenge few years ago with success, so looking forward to their Jive and i'm happy with that music choice for the foxtrot, a slowed down version i think, which i'm also excited for hearing


nowhere to hide for Taliso this week, a traditional choice for the charleston, and a Salsa for his trio dance, OUCH, and he ain't the best technical dancer


but tbh i can see Sandra struggle as well with the Jive, but the waltz might boost her score a little more i think

Marie having too good dances again, should do fine



Fabian i don't know, his magic moment last week kinda redeemed himself for me a bit more, but you see the pressure getting to him more and more, so idk about how he'll do this week

Taliso & Patricija:

regular dance - charleston: 22 score, but overmarked for my liking still, it was flat footed in places, half danced swivels, and everything was danced by numbers, this was poor, not only for quarter finals but also if this was few weeks ago my score: 3

trio dance (with Renata) - salsa: stiff, dull, uninspiring and very lacklustre, good music though 4


Marie & Alexandru:

regular dance - rumba: LOVE that Sugababes track tbh, was a very solid rumba, lovely rumba walks, very sexy but nothing too raunchy, this was solid 8

trio dance - salsa (with Evgeny): love this salsafied version of that iconic LP banger, very technically difficult routine, very risky moves in there, lots of hip action, yes love it 10

Diego & Ekaterina:

regular dance - foxtrot: perfect piece of music for this dance, loved the storytelling of diego playing a student and ekat someone from high society, great swing and sway flow throughout, very proper footwork, but that LIFT, he held her foot with one hand, and she looked sooooo stunning as well, there you can see how great their teamwork is, how much she trusts him, Go Diego Go! 10

trio dance - jive (with Massimo): very quirky yet simple storytelling, this diner theme might've done many times but it remains so effective, Diego was superbly well in sync with Massimo with the kicks and flicks, also love how much he has grown in terms of selling a routine compared to early weeks where he was too scared of expressing himself, YASS GET IN 10

Fabian & Anastasia:

regular dance - viennese waltz: some moments looked a bit too clunky for my liking but that was part of the routine, i didn't like it, but the judges did, everyone has different tastes i guess, but all in all a gorgeous ballroom number 8

trio dance - rumba (with Sergiu): i initially thought Fabi would a third wheel with husband and wife's rumba, but this was a fab trio dance rumba, also Sergiu thought him the rumba walks quite well and the 8 hip action, this was impressive 9

Sandra & Zsolt:

regular dance - waltz: i have good memories with that des'ree tune, Abbey Clancy's waltz song, both in week 1 and in the final, but anyway for someone with her weight, i am impressed how light she glides across the floor actually, although for a quarter finals routine, this was a little below that standard, too plain 7

trio dance - jive (with Kathrin): Strictly the Professional PROMO in the routine can you imagine :laugh: i noticed that, i wonder if the BBC are gonna copyright it lol, but anyway kicks and flicks looked decent for her standard, nothing disastrous, or also not outdanced by Kathrin, this was fun, and top entertainment 8



next week semi final, with two regular routines and the return of the IMPRO DANCE even more Extreme *insert scary music*

also love seeing Katja in a line up again :flutter: (but tbh despite no celeb partners for her, she does a lot of group number choreographies, and a mentor role, similar to Sergiu Luca & Regina Luca, also behind the scenes and as coaches in lets dance kids)

like the idea of different emotion themes, an extra difficulty layer for our pro's



a real shame Strictly doesn't do this either, the week after the final (it really helps against post show depression) and honestly this is what i more love about lets dance, its about the professional dancers, rather than strictly laying the focus on the entertainment show bit


Craig Revel Horwood to compare with Herr Llambi, well Llambi is from the dance competitions, he is always present at european and world championships to scout them for lets dance, while Craig is more from west end, so his expertise is limited, in my opinion, and the pro's here see Llambi as a father figure to them


i also love the chemistry of judges here more, Jorge/Motsi/Llambi are much better than Craig/Motsi/Shirley/Anton


Shirley gets hated by the british public but in all fairness, she knows more about dancing than Craig
