was a lovely special
also great to see Ed & Katya, Bill & Oti again, and also doing a bit of their fave routines either, they still got it :clap1:
great transition edit from Sir Brucie saying ''one dance we haven't had on this show, gangnam style'' and then many years later Ed Balls came and delivered that
i was in tears with the in memoriam bit, Caroline :bawling: Dave Myers :bawling: Robin Windsor :bawling: Len Goodman
also lovely seeing the first episode, didn't see that live so nice seeing that for a first time, Sir Brucie's ''Lambs to the slaughter'' comment :laugh2:
also nice to see they all speak highly of this show, even those who didn't last too long, like Katie Piper
a franchise in 60 different countries worldwide :flutter:
shame they didn't do a segment about the guest judges they've had on the show like Alfonso Ribeiro, Donny Osmond, Cynthia Erivo, especially Alfonso became a fan favourite guest judge, and now does wonderfully as host in the american version btw
Donny how he made history only judge to give 10s to all couples in one week :fan: but tbh he also knows what it is like to face the judges, in the american version which he won
--
the german version also does these sorts of specials (more often tbh) usually during easter break so the viewers still have their dosage of lets dance to enjoy
one iconic moment in lets dance history, Brigitte Nielsen, how she kissed all of the judges after every performance she did
