Correct. One set for televoting and one set for jury.
Oh no sorry, I've got that wrong. If you had a 3rd country that didn't qualify they can still vote as well.

We need user to join next time. We need some good South American entries.
Josiah.
23-02-2025, 11:24 AM
After the last edition and their accusations towards the voting, I don't think User will ever take part in this again.
Kate!
23-02-2025, 11:25 AM
I wouldn't allow him to take part again personally. He insulted Josiah.
Benjamin
23-02-2025, 11:25 AM
Josiah, I was thinking for the next one.
Rather than have a big 5 (as they don’t always get picked), the top 5 countries from this one are the auto qualifiers to the final. These are countries we’re likely to pick again, and means less likely a country makes the final nobody is representing (like Czechia this time around).
Josiah.
23-02-2025, 11:27 AM
I previously did that with the top 6 of each edition until to the 13th edition. I could bring the Big 6 rule back.
Benjamin

Yeah. I’d personally prefer a final made up from songs of us lot.

Who Captivated You in the Grand Final? I present to you, The Winner!

(click the picture to watch the video, and then come back to this post)
—————————————————————————————————————————————————
And there you have it, we have a winner; and one that I definitely was not expecting.
During the first two days of voting, the winner kept switching between 3 of our Top 4 countries. It wasn't until the final votes came in that the winner was confirmed.
To all of you, thank you for coming on this journey again. I really appreciate it, and hopefully you take a look at the website and wiki page after this to see the full results (I re-themed the website to go along with the new look of the contest).
I hope you all enjoy the new slogan and visual design to be used from the seventeenth edition onwards. I've been trying to make the graphics look nice and easy on the eyes, even if I'm using three different fonts in the new look.
See you in April for TiBB Big Brother: Level Up, and again in June for the 17th TiBB Music Festival!

My fave songs in the contest were (in no order)
* USA
* Bosnia & Herzegovina
* Slovakia
* Zimbabwe
* Mexico
* Angola
And just before the final, and just in time for points Albania massively grew on me.
I know songs not in English tend not do well but I really enjoyed Nicky’s choices (except Netherlands)

Announcement about the next edition:
After corresponding with Ben through private messages (as he had a question about when country selection for the next edition opens), I am informing you all that the thread for TiBB Music Festival: Auckland 17 will be posted towards the end of April (most likely the day after Easter).
This gives the rest of us time to figure out countries and songs and for Nicky to do the national selection he is planning on doing.
In addition, the song & artist announcement pictures will look like these (just with the artist photos and song info):

We could always twist Josiah’s arm now to let us choose our countries now to give loads of time to find songs ready for the deadline.
…ahhh, I might do that also …but then if there was one that I totally loved and someone else took the country, I might have to fight them to the death…and that’s not really the spirit of Eurovision that Josiah is hoping for, he’s all about the love…
