The character didn't die, but is due to leave the soap very soon. He'd never willingly leave Lauren and the baby unless she goes with him and as far as I know actress Cait Fitton isn't leaving? So maybe he goes down for arson?

I'm not sure on Max, he was in the house with Shona, looking for Lily.
What set the fire going was put in from the front door letterbox from outside.
After Max was upstairs, ( supposedly).

Why would he want to harm Shona ?
Why would he start the fire then re-enter the house.
He was looking to a new life with that Lauren character.
So he doesn't add up for me.

Then again this is soap land so I guess any absurdity can be possible.
The writers seem to forget what's already ern seen at times.

No Joey, that's the wrong order of events. The rag was posted through the door before Max and Shona saw the house on fire. Then they went inside to look for Lily.

Used to love it from being a child.

I like to moan at the characters I don't like, particularly Leanne, Max and Sarah particularly :joker:

It's storylines have got darker and more and more absurd.
So I watch it sometimes now not every time it's on.
This episode was hyped up so I decided to watch it however Kate's right of course, the fire was started before they went into the house.

So yes I'd agree Max is more in the frame now.
Plus it's been said the actor is leaving too.

Corrie used to be discussed a lot on here on TIBB when I first joined.
