Due to the Labour Party,

[UK inflation rate jumps to 3.5%
in April as higher household bills kick in]

It was at 2:6%

Rachel stated the jump to 3.5% is "clearly disappointing".

Predicted last year this was.
Plus water costs have risen in April too
The energy rise was forecast even by that guy Martin Lewis as far back as June last year.

Energy costs will fall in July so inflation will be heading downwards again.
Probably to rise again at the end of the year because the regulator will likely approve another rise in the cap for the Winter months.

They do need to keep a closer eye on it though as the UK doesn't need at all the inflation rate heading to double figures, as it hit around 3 years ago in 2022 under the Conservative government.

do not agree with that view.

Operative word being some, NOT all.
However they more than likely will I'd say.

3.6% Food inflation is rising.

A new Food Club was shown on Ch4HDnews
No restriction on who can take free food.

It takes all the food that the Supermarkets are going
throw out.

One lady said her kids have had so much
different quality food
that are loving it.

Our leaders have gotten away with a lot, if I'm honest... a few decades earlier and we wouldn't have been so tolerant.
