Yh could be, Love Island (for me anyways) just seems to have really died down over the last few years. There just isn’t as much interest or hype for it like there used to be. I did enjoy the last series (which was all stars) so I’m gonna give this new series a go and see if it can be any better.

The show has run its course now let's be honest. I'll still watch it but yeah it will never reach the heights of 2019. Now that was an amazing season. The show was at its peak during this time. The last truly great season for me would be 2022 aka Ekin's year. It's gone downhill since then.

Yep I agree, mind you as I mentioned before, I did think the previous all stars series was pretty good but I’m not sure what they can do with the regular series to spice things up a little bit? I feel like the last couple series (from what I’ve seen of them as I haven’t watched them the whole way through) have been really bland.

I think as love island USA and love island UK are clearly trying to run at the same time we are gonna have some sort of crossover. The first bombshell is American it's been confirmed. Could it be when someone gets dumped from there they get sent to ours and when someone gets dumped from ours gets sent to theirs. Maybe not throughout the series but I can see something similar to this happening. Also I'd like some kind of secret island, not casa amor, but maybe another island at launch where those islanders watch the main island and work out where they can cause some messy situations and all arrive on the first recoupling unbeknownst to the main islanders

Yasmin cracks me up I don’t what it is but she sometimes pulls these blank expressions when there’s arguments and idk why but I find it hilarious :laugh:

Harry is one of those people where his intrusive thoughts just always wins and it does him no favours at all and he lies so much that he can’t even remember what he’s actually done. I do find him entertaining somewhat :laugh:

Haven't really been enjoying this series. I think I'm truly over love island now, it all just feels the same and think my tv tastes has changed. However the sleepover was quite a good twist. I do wonder had they all recoupled whether the producers would have got rid of Alima, Connor and Meg, I doubt it...I think they wanted to get rid of Shea anyway as noone was connecting with him so he was not bringing much to the show. I hope Meg and Alima get shown what the boys were up to, I predict some sort of return for the sleepover girls for the drama

I was happy about the result last Friday. Remell going seemed obvious, the only other person who would’ve gone instead of him would be Ben. I’m glad that Yasmin didn’t end up in the bottom 3 either, that made Ben look a right idiot and I bet she got some satisfaction from that.

Meg going was a bit of a weird one for me because on one hand I was happy about it but in another way it was kinda frustrating because she could’ve handled that situation with Tommy so much better, but she chose not to and it ended up being her downfall. I’m curious to see how Connor is going to handle this situation now.

Gotta be honest, I’m surprised that Toni was in the bottom 3 and I’m kinda confused as to why? She can be quite fiery but I feel like she speaks facts on a lot of the stuff that goes on in the villa. When she had the convo with Helena after Helena and Harrison went to the hideaway together, I feel like everything she said Helena was bang on point and Helena didn’t really seem to have much of a response. I do feel like a lot of these girls are contradicting themselves one way or another except for Toni so I’m really not understanding the dislike that she’s getting?

Yh I feel like now that Meg & Dejon are exclusive they’re gonna just make up anyways. Helena will just forgive Harry because she’s a walkover. Cach is great I think. I hope he gets out of this triangle hopefully has some time to make a connection with someone. After last nights episode I think Toni’s popularity is going to fall. Completely agree....Cach has been amazing and hasn't had enough screen time while the triangle was happening. Hope we get more time with the others now that Harrison has gone.....except Emma, she can just take her bitterness / jealousy and leave

I don’t feel sorry for Harry at all really but I agree with you on Dejon not backing him up or even just trying to console him afterwards. It’s clear what game Dejon is playing and that was the only slight time I actually felt sorry for Harry, because he was taking so much heat and Dejon was just staying silent, the same way how Megan was getting all the heat on movie night and Helena sat there and said nothing.

Tbh both sides have been bitchy about one another but I feel like it’s being projected that it’s just Toni and Shakira when it isn’t. Like Rusticgal mentioned earlier, Helena and Meg was quite happy to sit there and smirk when things were going wrong for Toni and Shakira but they choose not to show that which kinda makes me believe that the producers are manipulating things and causing bias.

I really enjoyed this series though, granted some of it was predictable and slow, but for the most part it was a great series with some good twists this year.

The female cast was fantastic, probably one of the strongest in a long time, but the male cast were vile, apart from Ty, Jamie and Cach who im happy made the final showing how men ought to be, if Harry won that would have been a joke, him and Harrison were simply disgusting.

Don't know why Shakira decided to get back with Harry he is definitely going to cheat as soon as he can!
