i'm looking forward the most to Amber & Nikita's performances, her couples choice has a full on Moon theme with Nikita in a white outfit, and Amber is something very sparkly, and i saw some rehearsal footage also from her Tango, which looked really great

Actually for me, this is not the best of semi finals I've watched
The judges voting is ridiculous.

It's not been that impressive at all in my view.

Just to add, the one criticism that I did have with Amber in last night's episode.

I did find her to be a bit phony when acting like she was in danger to lose to Lewis last week, I get that she doesn't want to rub it in or whatever, but she knew that a 40 dance was never going to lose to a 35 dance with the judges.

I still think that the dislike for Amber is incredibly harsh, but that's definitely my first time having an issue with something that Amber has actually said or done.

also she is well aware that the judges base their decision on the dance off alone, and moments before the dance off it was Nikita who was feeling very pissed off about being in the dance off again, and it was Amber who had to calm him down


and i totally understand Amber was feeling the danger of that dance off, especially considering Lewis & Katya were her personal favourite to win the whole thing, hence why she paid tribute to what she thought was their best dance (the halloween couples choice) on her instagram


and respect to Nikita to ask for the viewers at home to just be kind for once, but anyway i especially love Amber for also just having a good time, how well she gets on with the rest of the contestants and pro dancers, she already has been quite a big star in the West End but this show introduced her to a whole new audience and she gained even more experience through this show, and for me personally she really saved this series (same goes for Lewis tbh) with some very exciting routines, and tbh i can see her staying friends with quite some of the other contestants too, i deffo think Lewis might get on well with her boyfriend Ben with all honesty

Balvinder & Julian

Salsa: it lacked hip rotation tbh, the lifts were spectacular though, good musicality throughout, not bad 8

Waltz: some parts of the routine were more foxtrot than waltz for my liking, as a foxtrot it is a 10, but it is a waltz i am judging 8

Amber & Nikita

Tango: loved the subtle hints of argentine tango in there, but overall solid ballroom tango basic content, her shoulders looked perfect now, solid improvement in the ballroom department 9

Couples Choice: loved the fusion of Ballet, Jazz, and some hints of Ballroom numbers in there very old hollywood glamour yes, beautiful 10


Karen & Carlos

Waltz: all in all a very good frame, pure genuine emotions, solid footwork 9

Salsa: weird how the judges marked Lewis down on lack of fluidity and hip rotation, and they ignored the lack of hip rotation here, #JudgesFavourite, but musicality wise this wasn't bad either but just not worthy of 10s 9

George & Alexis

Samba: i somehow didn't like his over the top botafogo's volta's, good effort though but i like my samba's more natural around the hips, the move on the table and the jump reminded me more of a paso doble not samba sadly but that looked good though 8

Charleston: YASSS YASSS YASSSSSS quirkilicious 10

i was absolutely in tears with Amber's CC VT :bawling: so beautiful, from a shy girl just singing and dancing at home to being brave enough to first do Love Island, to eventually becoming such a big West End star with many lead roles, and yes her older sister is quite a successful west end star too


she got a lovely mom too :flutter:



i loved it anyway after her tango, she gave another shout-out to Lewis & Katya (looking at Katya too :lovedup:) and i understand it so well she had more pressure on justifying her being saved over Lewis this week

That really was the routine of the night, superb.

I still think it was not one of the best semi finals.
However they all tried very hard.

I couldn't get at all what Craig was on about as to George though.
George definitely got my votes this week again..

I respect your defense of her, Nicky.

But to me I think that she knew that her 40 dance was very likely to beat Lewis in the dance-off, barring Amber forgetting how to dance anyway.:laugh:

As I've said in the past I actually like Amber, and on a shallow front she has been the eye candy alongside Vicky for me in this series.:laugh:

It's just one bit of critique that I do just want to point out that I had with Amber in the last Saturday episode. After all I am a gobshite.:joker:

and George has impressed me a lot with that charleston, not too over the top since that also doesn't suit his style therefore not the best charleston of the series which is Amber's, but just a funny routine which puts a smile on my face


am still be excited for Amber's 3 performances though, and her showdance, but anyway she doesn't need to win ''strictly finalist'' alone looks good on her resumé, and btw she is nominated for a WhatsOnStage award, in a category next to her friend Layton too

It was totally right she was put through to the final in that dance off in the semi final over Balvinder.

George to win for me, but really any of the 3 left are worthy winners.

OMG, Amber is gonna vote for George :D, and she said she is happy for both George and Karen to also having made it to the final


so yes Amber knows she stands not much of a chance, so she's gonna go out and have the best time in the final
