Got a funeral Monday and a wedding Tuesday.
Sorry to hear that. I can do part 2 with you on Sunday before everyone else as you’re away.
I’ll also give you Task 1 now via PM so you have the same time as others.

Just the quick task please. If it's an hour to do it or something I may not be able to leave my duties because the families have booked in advance, unless it's around 3-4pm when I'm having tea at the care home with the ladies, they always enjoy a task.

Best time for me on a monday or Tuesday is between 4 and 5
Bed just needs to be coated with stain as I just finished construction so I should be free by then.
Hardest task for me so far was the song for TM

The TM has all your entires. Results will be sometime over the weekend, maybe Sunday afternoon time.
As an FYI, round 5 will include a short timed task. As usual, to keep it fair, when each of you individually have time and are ready to do it, I’ll post you the task directly to compete it as quickly as possible. Will most likely be on Monday and Tuesday for it.
That's good, because I'm going to meet Dad's girlfriend for the first time tomorrow, so I wouldn't have been available for Sunday.

good evening, Happy 1st March!

I have chosen The Rothschild Fabergé egg. I have chosen this as the most Flamoyant Clock because it is a jewelled, enameled and decorated egg, made under the supervision of Peter Carl Fabergé for Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild as a wedding present for her younger brother in 1902. It is one of the most expensive Clocks in the world currently, selling at auction for a jaw-dropping $13.5m in 2007.
Besides the flamboyance of the jewels an added little surprise is upon the hour, a diamond-set cockerel pops up from the top of the egg, flaps its wings four times, then nods his head three times, crowing all the while. This lasts for fifteen seconds, before the clock strikes the hour on a bell.
Nothing screams flamboyance like a jewel encrusted cock!

Behold — not just a timepiece, but a time experience.
This isn’t a clock.
This is chronology in couture.
This is horology brought to Broadway.
From its vibrant flourish to its bold design choices, this clock doesn’t quietly tell the time — it announces it. If ordinary clocks whisper “tick-tock,” this one belts out “TICK-TAAAACK!” in full theatrical vibrato.
It doesn't just mark Minutes it makes a statement. Every hour feels like a grand entrance. If Salvador Dalí and Liberace designed a timepiece after a night out in Vegas, this would be it.
This is not a clock you glance at.
This is a clock you admire, photograph, and possibly write poetry about.
Time doesn’t just pass here — time performs.

Most clocks are humble. Some clocks are tacky
They sit quietly on walls… ticking away… desperate for validation and attention. They hide behind decoration.
Not this one.
This clock woke up, looked at itself, and said to the room “I AM flamboyant.”
No confusion. No self-doubt. No negative energy.
Notice how it doesn’t rely on glitter, feathers, or unnecessary accessories…because true flamboyance comes from within.
Every second it passes is legally recognised as fabulous.
Every minute arrives with dramatic intention.
And every hour feels like a grand entrance of flamboyancy.
This isn’t just timekeeping, it’s timekeeping with main-character energy.
Flamboyance isn’t subjective…this clock settled the debate.
I present you with the MOST flamboyant clock!!

A rather plain clock with the word flamboyant on it. Reminds me of someone at work telling you how zany they are. If it has to be spelled out, it’s probably not true. An interesting effort but in the face of the competition, not my favourite.

Design and function. It’s pretty, it's classical, it’s probably expensive and is undoubtedly quite flamboyant, but it gives me a strange hankering for an after-dinner mint.

This is a clock and a half. And you have to wind it, just to up the embuggerance stakes. Lots of bits to break and lose, it’s too big for a mantlepiece, is impractical and fiddly looking . Nice work.

This looks like something Grayson Perry might have in his house. A classic design with a modern twist. It looks like horology wrapped up in a migraine and I bet it makes a proper racket every quarter hour. Impressive.

This song represents the power of the TaskMaster.
Its slow, haunting melody mirrors the emotional journey of every time I play this game. I pin my dreams on impressing the Taskmaster: hope, determination, and then the inevitable moment when everything goes spectacularly wrong. The understated delivery builds suspense with every note, much like watching a my brilliant ideas unravel in real time .
In short: it’s a song that is elegant, dramatic, and devastatingly effective, just like the TaskMaster’s judgement. Bang bang and my dreams are gone

Mr Taskmaster,
I would like to write this letter in appreciation for you. I admire your way of judging. Yes sometimes it can be harsh, maybe seem quite cruel if your on the wrong side of it. But its also kind.
Let me tell you for why. You demanded brilliance because you spot brilliance in each one of us. You push us because yoi believe we rise to it. In your world being mediocre doesn't earn a ribbon. But when you decide something is good, when you approve, when you award those glorious points...it feels earned! It feels good!
You have the ability to look at something we were extremely proud of us and then just say "hmmm", its selectively magnificent!
You demand brilliance, originality, and occasionally what appears to be psychic foresight. And honestly? We love you for it.
So yes, sometimes you make us sweat. Sometimes you dismantle our “masterpieces” with surgical precision. But when you smile at an entry? When you reward it?
It feels earned. It feels fair.
It feels like winning something that actually matters.
Long may your judge us with ruthless standards!
And if this tribute has demonstrated wit, bravery, and a deep understanding of your refined excellence… we trust the appropriate number of points will follow.
No pressure. Obviously.
Yours Sincerely
Benjamin

For some reason the images for spot the difference are not working (I can see them but you guys can’t). It’s very annoying we can’t use Imgur anymore due to the stupid laws.
The spot the difference will still be a task but instead it will be based on how many correct differences you spot (there will be no timed part - the first task is still timed).
Spot the difference is below. Can you see both photos? Maybe wait a few seconds to see if they load.
You need to find the differences (I’m not saying how many) between the photos. Shadows/the edge/angle differences of the photo don’t count (it was hard to get the exact same angle for both photos). The changes are obvious ones.
You can either circle them and send to me or describe what the differences are (but be very clear and concise):

ROUND 5 - RESULTS
Happy Thursday!
With only 3 rounds to go after this, the scores are incredibly close for the crown!
But has this round changed the leader?
First up, you were tasked to find the best thing from the 90s. Did you bring nostalgia to the TM, or did they prefer you left the item back in the decade it belongs?…
Benjamin
05-03-2026, 09:48 AM
Jake
My best 90s thing was this...a Blockbuster membership card.
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/ZLsAAOSwbGBiIM5z/s-l1200.jpg
Can you get any more 90s than on a Friday night wandering the aisles of Blockbuster for your weekend treat. Tough decisions to make as you could only choose three and more often than not the biggest movies had already gone. But the thrill of when you got there on time for it to be in stock. But the disappointment and horror if someone has put the wrong tape in the wrong box. Thats even worse then breaking the fundamental rule of be kind rewind!
And the sadness after the two nights rental when you had to return it through the slot. But you probably watched the movie twice to make it worth it.
In these days of hundreds of streaming channels we feel like we have nothing to watch a lot of the time. Ironic really when you had a choice of just three films for over the weekend. But making that decision made the films feel so much more special
Oh and you could get your popcorn, sweets and drink while you were there too. How convenient!
We all were so sad that we lost Blockbuster. Id be so happy if it ever returned.
But to do any of this you needed the membership card so thats my best 90s item.
I must admit I try and feel that nostalgic feel nowadays as I Google the best new books. Then I use my library card to reserve them. I get excited when they arrive at the library desk and it looks and smells new and the librarian looks jealous as they stamp it for you and tell you to make sure you get it back in three weeks time as theres many others who have reserved it and I look back to my Blockbuster days when you had 2 nights to watch three films and when they stated video games and stocking those PS1 games you had one weekend to complete them. So thats no challenge to me!

I'm required by corporate to provide a reason and so here it is. Portable CD players felt like the future but still kept you feeling present in the 90s... and because 90s music was lit.

Only thing missing is a black and white Nokia with a polyrhythmic ringtone to the latest bop to go with. In the US, I had the kit that had ALL the phat serial cables to every phone in existence at the time just so I could put fun graphics and funny ringtones on my phone.
Without the transition to CDs, I don't think transitioning to a high tech era would've felt the same.

This was a difficult one for me, having lived my teens through the 90's, you would think it would be an easier mission but somehow it made it more difficult. This task required extreme soul searching.
I finally settled on the humble Mix Tape, I decided on this because when I remembered back, for teenagers of the 90's when there wasn't smart phones and Social Media, where most teenagers channeled their angst and insecurity and identities really was through music. Many hours I spent in my bedroom lost in the songs from my favourite bands, If I had to sum up the 90's as a teenager it was music and the Mix Tape was a massive factor in that.
The hours spent sitting by the radio waiting for a song to record, praying the DJ wouldn't talk over the end of it or cut it off too soon. The Ultimate gift to a close friend or the object of your desire would be a mixtape, it was a labour of love and to receive one from someone? It felt so special.
The nostalgia bursts my heart just seeing the image below. For me, it's the Ultimate symbol of the 90's as the last decade to really have cassettes and so mix tapes. It's a symbol of a lost innocence in todays modern world :')

I present to you not just a phone…but a cultural icon of the 90s.
This is the Nokia 3310 — the Queen of all mobile phones. Forget pages long texts...."C U @ 8" was all we needed on this baby.
In the 90s its battery lasted longer than most marriages. You could drop it down the stairs, throw it across a playground, possibly use it to build a house underwater and it would still have three bars of signal and a full battery.
And let’s talk about entertainment. Before Netflix, before TikTok… there was Snake. Hours of pure, pixelated tension. One wrong move and it was game over - character building at its finest. People lost days of their lives trying to beat their high score.
This phone didn’t need Face ID. It didn’t need WiFi. It didn’t need updating every six minutes. It simply worked. Endlessly. Relentlessly. For ever.
The Nokia 3310 represents everything great about the 90s - simplicity, durability and absolutely no group chats of nonsense. It was the Trailblazer, and superior master of phones to come.
Taskmaster, in a world of fragile smartphones… I give you a brick of greatness. The undisputed heavyweight champion of all 90s things. The Nokia 3310

The Nokia Phone came to us between mobiles being born and them taking over everyone’s lives. I had a friend who dropped their Nokia into snow in a car park and when it was found weeks later, still worked. The world would be a batter place if phones were still like this. Great choice.

I still have mix tapes from the 90s. I don’t have anything to play them on anymore but I keep them because one day, I will buy something to play them on. You can get all the tracks on these tapes on various platforms, but nothing beats the hiss of the tape, the five minutes you had to reflect while the tape ran out before turning and playing the other side. Nostalgia to the max.

This doesn’t deserve to be last. Nothing on this list deserves to be last. But I remember swapping my trusty Walkman for a portable CD player. It wasn’t portable, if you jogged it it’d skip. If you turned it on its side, it wouldn’t play properly. If there was a problem with the disc you couldn’t wind it back with a pen like you could with a tape.

The Blockbuster membership card, to me, was a passport to . I loved it. I miss it. Blockbuster was the height of quality entertainment. For less than the price of a cinema ticket you could take out three or four great films (and sometimes a turkey or two) for the weekend. I miss the nerds who worked there who’d get to know you and say, “we’ve just got this in and you’re going to love it!” They got to know you, they got to know what you liked… and they sold popcorn. Undoubtedly the ‘A-No.1’ best thing about the 90s.

ROUND 6 - RESULTS
Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice weekend.
This round you had the usual task of finding something, and you also had your last team task.
So let’s see firstly what you sent to the TM to sit on which isn’t designed for sitting on…

I bet that it would feel like dynamite to sit on his face, even though you'd technically be suffocating him in that moment.
But regardless, Kim Taehyung is my bias!

A bale of hay on a summers day.
A bale of hay makes the best chair because it’s the perfect mix of comfort, practicality and rustic charm. Even though it wasn’t designed for sitting, a bale of hay naturally forms a sturdy, slightly springy seat that moulds just enough to make it surprisingly comfortable. It’s the kind of seat that feels welcoming after a long day outdoors, whether you’re in a field or at a farm. Unlike a regular chair, it carries the smell of fresh grass and sunshine, giving it a simple, peaceful atmosphere that makes you want to relax and stay awhile. In a way, sitting on a bale of hay feels more connected to nature - proof that sometimes the best seats aren’t the ones that were designed, but the ones that just happen to work perfectly.

From being a young child, even before watching Jurassic Park, I have loved Dinosaurs.
This absolutely should not be sat on. Think a musuem would ban you for life! It would probably destroy this great piece of history but for those 5 minutes sitting on top of it you'd feel pretty damn majestic, so yeah a trex is my choice!
Benjamin

I present the airport luggage carousel.
Technically, it’s not designed for sitting on, it’s designed for moving suitcases around at a glacial pace while tired travellers question their life choices and pray theor suitcase comes off first.
But that is exactly why it’s perfect to sit on.
First: comfort. It’s a wide, smooth rubber belt, essentially a slow-moving sofa.
Second: convenience. Why stand and wait for your suitcase when you can become part of the luggage? Simply sit down and glide majestically around the carousel like a slightly confused carry-on bag.
Third: entertainment. Every 40 seconds you make eye contact with the same strangers again, silently asking: ‘doesnt this look fun’
And finally, efficiency. If your bag appears, you’re already in the optimal position to grab it because you’re literally on the delivery system. No more jostling with other tired sweaty travellers hoping they dont grab your bag as youd then have to have an awkward conversation at 2am when you just want to get home.
So while it may not be designed for sitting, the luggage carousel offers comfort, movement, suspense and a mild risk of airport security intervention.
Which, in my opinion, makes it the perfect seat.https://i.postimg.cc/59vzKpdz/Screenshot-20260307-085504-Google.jpg

Benjamin
09-03-2026, 10:07 AM
Team A
Adam Carolla - We would not be bored by his jokes and he would make especially funny remarks when the topic of internet posts come up, especially anything from TIBB, which will lead to ranting about "those silly people on the internet"
Stephen Fry - So we can ask him all about his time on Traitors and that be most of the evening
Jordan Peterson - Free mental health exam and maybe a good book recommendation
Prince Harry - So we can watch him get super animated when the smart people start talking and he feels he has reexplain the same thing we just heard but with extra salad. Other than that, he's just good people watching and EVERYONE would have an opinion about it.
Princess Meghan Markle - Because who else is going to tell us the best way to setup the kitchen table and squeeze a lemon
David Attenborough. Not just because he’s a national treasure, but because I want him to narrate the evening like a wildlife documentary. "Here we see Gordon Ramsay, circling the overcooked chicken… preparing to attack.”
Gordon Ramsay. Not to cook, I want him purely to critique the £4 Tesco lasagne I serve him while I maintain intense eye contact. I’m hoping for at least three swears and one plate thrown for entertainment.
James Acasterbecause hes so delightfully awkward, that if conversation dries up, he will fill the silence with inane chatter about cabbages.
Danny Dyer, whose job is to loudly ask Gordon Ramsay why he’s shouting at a bread roll and then call David Attenborough “Dave.”
Finally, Calvin Harris brings the music. At some point he’ll turn the dinner party into a full house party while David Attenborough calmly narrates it like a migration event. As a new Dad though, he will want to wrap it up early
Benjamin
09-03-2026, 10:07 AM
Team B
Ricky Gervais
I just find him really really funny, doesn't take himself ............or anything too seriously
David Attenborough
Just love him really, such an interesting, knowledgeable and well traveled man, he'd surely have a lot of interesting stories to tell
Brian Dowling
As we're still part of a BB forum I thought I'd pick a former HM, thee former HM imo. I just find him really hilarious, I was sad when BB2 ended, that he was gone from my TV every night
Alan Carr
Because he is extremely funny, I think my sides would be hurting from how much id be laughing but he has a very sweet side too id love to hear all about his life
Alison Hammond
because her laugh is contagious but shes very motherly too id love her to give me a big cuddle and we can bond over the dessert
Claudia Winkleman
because im such a fan of Strictly and the traitors I would be starstruck. But she also makes me laugh with her quirky ness and I like an after dinner parlour game after the meal and she would be all over that!
Ella Langley
I love her Music, and other things. Plus I would ask her about what it's like in Alabama and what has it been like when touring to other States and countries.
Cristina Scabbia - Again I love Lacuna Coil's Music, and I would ask her about Italy and how Lacuna Coil's songs came about.
Noah Wyle - I've been really getting back into Falling Skies lately and Noah Wyle is one of my favourite Actors on the Show, so I would probably ask him questions on what it was like for him onset. And ask him similar questions for his time on Shows like ER, The Pitt, and The Librarians.
Tom Hardy - Brilliant actor, I may have to insist that he comes as Alfie Solomons, my favourite of all his characters. Not too bad to look at either
Benjamin
09-03-2026, 10:09 AM
And the TM’s verdict…
Team B - 3 points
Ricky Gervais, great choice. Attenborough again, so unless it’s tea and not dinner, he’ll be leaving early. Brian Dowling and Alan Carr, I like them both and it’d be interesting to see who could out-gay whom? It would be interesting to see. Alison Hammond’s on the fat jabs, so more pudding for me. I’d make a special request to sit next to Claudia Winkleman. And Tom Hardy? Who doesn’t love him? And yeah, Alfie Solomon, I could talk Peaky Blinders to him. The rest, I probably wouldn’t cross the road to make their acquaintance. All in all, the superior list of guests for me.
Team A - 2 points
Stephen Fry would be a hoot, but I think he’s the person most people would invite to their fantasy dinner party. It’d be a pleasure to shake hands with Attenborough although the man is 100 years old so will probably be ready for his Horlicks come 9pm and I’m just getting started around that time. I would, however, like to get steaming drunk with Danny Dyer. I Ramsay isn't cooking, what the hell is he doing there? I don't care what he has to say but I would eat his food. I wouldn’t bother even to dress up to meet any of the others. And if I was invited to a dinner party where Harry and Meghan were going to be in attendance, I would definitely already have “other plans”.

All go at the Maru household.
The app was showing me a picture of a big cheese-ish looking wedge, but now it's a tiny cheese crumb-like wedge. It's predicting 11am (4pm uk) tomorrow being fixed probably based on complete nonsense. But now that it's a meager little crumb and it just says fiber cable issue... thinking they're down the road at the box since that's pretty much the area it covers and we're maybe 100ft away from it.
I had forgotten I was on hotspot and had to download some tools for work and I haven't gotten a call or text from Tmobile questioning me about "strange activity" on their network... so that's a good sign. My phone is not from them so it doesn't report I'm on a hot spot. If it were an official phone, it would be metered... :hee:

Now back to the last tasks. And we’ll start with round 7 entries and scores…
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:35 AM
The first task of round 7 was to find the worst thing to gift at a birthday…
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:36 AM
Person A
Worst thing you can gift someone for a birthday is a coupon for a free hug.
https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/28MAAOSw5S5fKxma/s-l1200.jpg
Like no one wants that. Especially if you’re the type of person who isn’t much of a hugger, that’s more of a trial than a gift. And surely you could hug someone whenever, you dont need a coupon. It just shows you haven’t spent money on the person, its not the thought that counts, no one really thinks that!
Person B
From your green friend who is obsessed with their home compost (and dogs, apparently)
https://i.postimg.cc/gJFH91ZH/71y-X-AB0Qz-L-AC-SL1200-1217386163.jpg
Person C
I chose anus cream for those nasty hemorrhoids you've been complaining about. I hope you don't end up the butt of your guests jokes because of it. That would be very s***ty of them! Last thing you want is a pile on at your birthday party. I should probably stop now before I make an ass of myself :hehe:
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSZk2GGDbZYR-1crLPF7VcpUqADBxCLoctDug&s
Person D
https://i2-prod.walesonline.co.uk/article32564970.ece/ALTERNATES/s615b/0_amberdavies.jpg
She had more dance experience than everyone else on Strictly.
Person E
I present the worst birthday gift.
Not a pair of socks, that would suggest effort and some people love socks.
This is a single sock.
But it doesn’t stop there. Because this sock also comes with a thoughtfully pre-installed ventilation hole.
So what you have here is not just useless, it’s actually disappointing. You can’t wear it, you can’t pair it, you can't make a glove puppet out of it because who wants to put their hand in an old, worn, dirty sock and you can’t even pretend it was new.
It raises questions like:
Where is the other sock?
Whose sock was this?
Where has it been?
And perhaps most importantly…
Do you hate me?
https://i.postimg.cc/vBGC8svK/image.png
It's the perfect worst birthday gift.
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:38 AM
And here is what the Task Master thought of your awful presents…
5 points - Person E
This is the very worst gift imaginable. And therefore, the best. Who want this? I imagine even Doby The House Elf would be insulted.
4 points - Person A
Genuinely cringey. And cheap. And it’s “redeemable from any cooperating human” so you don’t even have to touch them yourself. Inspired…
3 points - Person C
Imagine… you’re at the party, the Birthday Girl/Boy is excitedly ripping open presents in front of all their guests, then they get to yours. This person will forever be known as ‘the one with piles’. Gross. And brilliant.
2 points - Person B
If the person has a dog I guess there is a chance they might be useful. Well, they’re… what usually goes in them. Definitely one of the worst but in a very tough field this round.
1 point - Person D
Don’t be bringing that woman to my party. The reason this scored low is that she’d be gone by the end of the evening and there might be someone at the party who likes her. It’s not likely I know, but you never know.
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:40 AM

Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:42 AM
And here is the Task Master’s verdict on your creativity…
5 points - Person B
This scored high for a simple reason: Livia’s going to have you killed when she finds out you think she’s a cow. Probably send Mossad to pop a cap in your ass... that’ll be the unrefutably greatest reaction to a decorated cow ever.
4 points - Person E
Nicely decorated, and filmed on location. And you had to wrangle it. Great tagline too. I like it.
3 points - Person D
Nice effort up against some stiff competition. Looks like something Jackson Pollock might have done in year 3.
2 points - Person A
That is truly terrifying. Nightmare fuel. Frankenstein Cow. Good effort.
1 point - Person C

Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:43 AM
Now into round 8 tasks.
Part 1 was to find the thing you would most want to put your finger in…
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:44 AM
Person A
I chose edible brownie batter because there's just no way you don't use your finger on the bowl after scooping it... cake batter is hit or miss depending on the flavor, but brownie batter is undefeated:
https://i.postimg.cc/C1BHd3nt/260316-brownie-batter.jpg
Person B
https://www.shutterstock.com/image-photo/single-lit-candle-sits-center-260nw-2621797307.jpg
I've chosen the melted wax on a just blown out candle. It's warmth hugs your finger and feels smooth and velvety. It easily crumbles away afterwards without leaving your finger feel sticky but like it's just had a bath in liquid silk. Don't forget to blow out the candle first!
Person C
https://glencroftcountrywear.co.uk/cdn/shop/files/ZZ50-glencroft-green-main.jpg?v=1743071513
My Chosen thing that it’s nice to stick your finger is in a nice pair of wooly gloves.
And for the reason why here is a poem.
On a freezing day when the wind’s being rude,
And your fingers have fully abandoned the mood,
They’re stiff little sausages, pale bits of ice,
Basically useless for anything nice.
Then out come the gloves — humble heroes of wool,
Soft, squishy, dependable, cosy and cool.
You slide your fingers in—oh what a delight,
Like ten tiny penguins discovering central heating at night.
They wiggle inside their warm woolly flats,
Each one getting tucked like posh aristocrats.
No frost, no wind, no icy shove,
Just a luxury lounge made entirely of glove.
Now sure, there are other things fingers could meet,
But most of those options are weird or unsweet.
A snowbank is cruel, a puddle’s just gross,
And sticking them in soup would upset the host.
But gloves never judge you, they’re loyal and true,
Ten little bedrooms—one waiting for you.
So Taskmaster, clearly the winner thereof:
The nicest thing to stick your fingers into… is a pair of woolly gloves
Person D
The nicest thing you could ever put your finger in is …
Not honey. Not cake. Not melted chocolate.
No… the nicest thing to put your finger in is a finger monkey's grasp.
Because instead of just putting your finger into something…you get something that holds your finger back.
It’s warm, it’s soft, it’s tiny, its unbelievably cute… and it looks at you like you’re the most important person in the world.
This isn’t just putting your finger in something - this is emotional connection and an instant smile inducer.
Also… unlike everything else, it might hug you, or bite you, or steal your food but unless you have a heart of stone, it will definitely steal your heart.
Which makes it the only option here that’s not just nice, it’s memorable.
https://factzoo.com/wp-content/uploads/img-fz/blog/monkeys/finger-monkey.jpg
Person E
https://joechocolates.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/chocolate-fountain-paradise.jpg
Just look at that beauty, who wouldn't want to stick their fingers in that Chocolate goodness? It's dark like my men.
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:46 AM
And here is the Task Master’s final ranking!
5 points - Person D.
I love that monkey with my whole heart and want my finger hugged by him. That’s the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. If he was my monkey, I’d never put him down.
4 points - Person C
There’s something nostalgic about woolly gloves. Something that makes me think those gloves would be on a string that ran up one coat sleeve and down the other. They make me think of frosty walks to school. A nice choice.
3 points - Person A
Brownie batter is definitely something I’d like to stick my finger in. I can almost feel the onset of diabetes getting closer just thinking about it. More delicious than when it’s cooked. I like it.
2 points - Person B
Seems a little niche to me, the whole candle wax thing. If you enjoy sticking your finger in ihot wax have you considered having it dripped on your genitals? Ahhh… memories. Finger though… nah.
1 point - Person E
I’m no expert in chocolate fountains but that’s the same batch of chocolate that’s sucked up, drizzled down, then sucked up again. They’re meant for strawberries and stuff, not fingers. If you’re dipping your dirty digit in it, how many other people are doing the same?
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:48 AM
And last up was This or That. How well do you know the Task Master?
This is what they chose…
Cherries
Mario
Countryside
Red wine
Football
Dipsy
Baby Spice
Ugly cat shoes
Danny Devito
Horses
Benjamin
20-03-2026, 09:49 AM

Well done Annie, and every one.
Dear Taskmaster Contestants.
Am I surprised three of you guessed me? No, not really. In my head I’m all ‘woman of intrigue and mystery’. Only in my head though, I’m well aware of that… No one from East Ham has ever been a person of either intrigue or mystery.
I want to apologise to every one of you for the mean things I said. Even the entries who scored lowest were brilliant, every one of you have made me laugh and in almost every round I could have scored everyone the same or at least all joint first and second. But you know what a tough boss Ben is and he made me judge you all. I didn’t try to work out who was who and it was never obvious to me.
I genuinely like every one of you and felt terrible saying some of the things I said. Sorry you had to drop out Shaun, you were missed. And Parmy, you were missed also, your responses to some of the comments were hilarious and I loved your choice of songs for the TM with the comment, “based on the fact there isn’t a song called ******* you”. Genuinely made me laugh out loud.
Thanks Ben, for running this. I’ve really enjoyed it.
For the record, the rounds I would have liked to have taken part in are, favourite dinner party guest, best thing to stick your finger in and what would you like to sit on. The answer to all three is, Tom Hardy.

Well done Annie! After being the runner-up twice in a row you stormed this season! Massively deserved. :clap1:
Thank you Annie, Niamh, Maru, Mock, Jake, Shaun and Parmy for taking part and providing both Livia and I some truly hilarious, disturbing and brilliant entries.
And of course thank you to the fabulous Task Master Livia. It was a pleasure having you and you were truly fantastic.
