TiBB’s Task Master (Season 2) - And the winner is…

After the success of the first season and Christmas special, a second season is coming!

For those who’ve never watched the show; Basically 5 players will be set random/silly challenges (individual or team) to complete and will have roughly 24/48 hours to complete it to score points. There will likely be 8 rounds again.

The challenges themselves won’t be too time consuming (you will have some time to do them as people have various life schedules) or difficult.

The points will be handed out by the mystery Task Master based on their judgement/satisfaction and how well they think you did the task/impressed them.

It will likely start mid February, I just need to know if enough would be interested before I go to deep in preparing it.

Mid Feb. Most of the task are easy enough and you have 2/3 days to do, sometimes longer depending on the task. It’s pretty flexible as only 5 players.

There’s usually only one design round, and you don’t have to draw on phone/computer. Sometimes the best ones are hand drawn. ;)

This looks like it has been made in a shack in China by small children who work 16 hours a day for no money. I believe it could have been made from the fur of real puppies, gassed to keep their coats pristine. Creepy, I would want to touch it in the same way I would have to look at a mutilated body.

I am a gossip. I would want to touch this but not for the Brooklyn stuff. I could spend hours looking for the messages where all the rest of the Spice Girls bad mouth Ginger.

Nothing says I Love You like a creepy vampire cat. Except, virtually everything else in the world. That said, it has a kind of terrifying cuteness that compels me to like it. I like it in the same way I might appreciate a crime scene, or being held hostage by terrorists.

I am a big fan of poetry. So obviously I hate this card. Although it does suggest a kind of anarchic, post-modern paradox to traditional romance, so… I love it also.

The guy in the picture clearly has no gag reflex. This card reassures me that I still do.

It's all booked. A sportathon for us both to challenge eachother.

Firstly we are up early for a bacon roll, then its round to the crazy putting course for some relaxed fun, before we stop for a light lunch before heading to the bowling green for our next activity, which is more relaxation with a 3 hour game of bowls, 1 drink per end. Ive booked 15 ends. Finally after some high jinx in the hotel it's out for the evening and the darts at the ally pally, for some singing and drinking all dressed up in fancy dress so nobody knows who we are.

Total cost, £650. We are going Dutch, right?

Brave choice, probably the first thing you think of when thinking of batter operated things (that’s my story and I’m sticking to it). But it is a much-underrated tool, the torch. You only really find that out when you need one and haven’t got one. The trick is to have lots, to the point of saturation, in drawers, glove boxes, bedside tables… so whenever the lights go out, you’re never more than six feet from one.

Almost a joint winner, but the love poem clinched it. I’ve had more arguments in my life over the remote control than I’ve ever had over anything else. It’s the key to other worlds, to thrills and spills, to stories from far-off lands. It is the gateway to the great entertainer and educator that is TV. I’m not even going to criticise your meter (which on the whole was pretty good) because the poetry was so heartfelt and it’s a love affair I’ve shared myself for as long as I can remember.

If Jayzee teamed up with Lord Byron I think they’d have struggled to come up with a rap using the ten words in play. I was quite amazed and impressed by the two teams’ efforts.

The Task Assassins have clearly put in the production time with their entry, well presented with good graphics and even an example soundtrack. The Ray Bans used a gif of the legend that is RayGun.

Both of these raps could easily chart in my opinion, although what I know about rap you could write on the head of a pin, so don’t take my word for it. I do know that it’s been hard to split, both teams stepped up to the plate with equal style and aplomb, so for that reason I’ve decided to award them both 3 points each.

A track called Throwing Shade by the Raybans was a great track title and the team name fitted perfectly. So I’ve decided to award them an extra point for their team’s name.
