Jade Goody must be packing her satchel and shining an apple for teacher.

Because she's going back to school.


The reality TV star is all set to become a drama student across the pond, in the US of A.

Jade has paid her £2,400 subs for a 12-week course at New York's Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute.

She told Closer: "I'm going to acting school in New York and I've producers in LA with a role for me."

We can just see Jade trotting around the Big Apple in a black beret, script in hand, spouting arty-farty whatnot and getting into character.

The school uses "techniques designed to express the actors' truth under imaginary circumstances, using their physical, emotional and intellectual talents."

Entry requirements for the Lee Strasberg Institute :

· A completed Application Form. Please be sure to write very clearly and legibly.

· Passport-Size Photo of yourself for identification purposes only.

· An Essay (no less than 125 words and no more than 250 words) describing your goals in the field of acting and why you wish to study at the Institute.

· Theatrical Resumé or Professional Resumé showing theatre/work experience.

· Two Letters of Recommendation These letters should be from a previous/current employer, co-worker, artistic professional, teacher or academic advisor. Both letters must be written in English and signed.

· Verification of Previous study. College or university transcripts and/or copy of diplomas or training certificate, if applicable.

· A Financial Statement from a bank proving that you have sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses (approximately $2000 per month). If the financial statement is in a name other than your own, the person whose name appears on the account must submit a letter of support.

· $50.00 Application Fee payable by money order or certified check. (Cash is accepted, but it must be United States currency.)

That's no problem. Jade Goody can write in English and write neatly. If she was in a rush, then it could get messy, but she will take her time naturally

She put herself in her the position she finds herself in. If she hadn't done and said the things she said she wouldn't have been in any trouble. Nobody can say Endemol shouldn't have put her in the Big Brother house in case she said something that could be considered racist. That would be silly. She is a grown woman.
