First of of as seperate, the twins dont cause any threat of winning to Brian. The closest was amanda and she was not even as popular as Jonty. So they have nothing to gain by putting the twins together. Secondly the pairing only increases their chances of getting votes against brian.
The bigger threat to Brian wouldve been Liam or Jonty, not sam or amnda seperated

By next Saturday Brian will be a runaway leader and Sam & Amanda will no longer be part of the show because they'll have been evicted.

Counting them as one is major disadvantage until the final which until now they were looking very likely to reach.



Sam & Amanda were getting too close to challenging Brian so they have to go. Of course Endemol will make out that Liam is challenging him to increase voting numbers but the reality is that Brian will get 70-80 % of the final votes.


I think the idea is that fans of other HMs will see this as their chance to get the twins out and remove them as a threat.

Also people who've bet on someone else winning will see this as their chance.

The probability that the twins will go this week definitely has increased, because without this twist they would not even be up; and while they probably would survive in a 2-way vote, a 3-way is much harder to predict.

I think it's significant that BB has combined them in a way that also puts them up for eviction. If BB just wanted to combine them, BB would have arranged the combination in some other way. And if BB wanted them to be a credible challenge in the final, to make it more exciting, why put them up artificially at all before the final?

Remember in BB3 when it was Kate V Johnny V Jade V Adel

Jade was at the height of her unpopularity, and the voting public were persuaded to tactically vote for Adele as she was manipulating Jade. They were all told that they would have their chance to get Jade out, when she went up the following week. Of course Adele went, but Jade was never up the following week, but that is by the by.

Tactical voting has happened in the past.

I still expect the twins to go, just as Channel 4 want them to, so Brian is given the crown.

It's not a fix, stop with that, their status wasn't cleary stated, both of them were confused. But I still think there is something in their contract or with Endemol and Channel4, because something like that had to happen earlier in the game, I recognise that.

Their status was made clear as they were able to nomo separately and be nominated seperetly. You say "the game is unfair", so we agree. It is completely unfair. BB have given the twins an even bigger advantage and now it's set in stone - The Twins have it in the bag. I wouldn't have minded if Amanda or Sam won as individual but not like this. And it's not cause I'm a Brian fan, Amanda is my second fave.

Sticks, your posts are often a little ... odd. But after a while you get used to it - the great British eccentric and all that. This time though, you've really outdone yourself. I'm not sure whether to cringe, or arrange a ticker tape parade so that you can show off your new clothes. Virtually every reply in this thread disagrees with you. Fair enough it's only a microcosm of the public, but it's a microcosm with a vested interest, and with a high percentage who are likely to vote from this evening onwards.

Lots of people like both Brian and the twins, and don't necessarily favour one over the other. There's very little evidence to suggest tactical voting ever plays a part in BB evictions, and it's even less likely when there are still eleven hm's left. People just vote for the hm they dislike most - it really is as simple as that. This whole notion of getting rid of the twins to ensure Brian a clear run is just nonsense. If anything it would make it harder for him, because Liam would gain a significant share of the twins' support if they were out of the race. The only vague possibility of the twins leaving on Friday would be because they faced new hm's who haven't got under enough people's skin sufficiently yet for them to bother voting. But as we saw last Friday every time Tracey's name was mentioned, people want the original hm's to stay over the new people. And the twins are a heck of a lot more popular than Tracey. It just isn't going to happen.

I remember how in 2004, when Michelle was beating Nadia in the popularity polls, the chained task was set up and footage was done to make it look as if Michelle was insanely jealous. At the same time a vitriolic hate Michelle campaign was started in Cyber space with accusations of Bunny Boiler.

Why would C4 do this?

They wanted Nadia to win so they could have a nice "feel good" story line, and Michelle when her popularity peaked, got in the way.

Now Brian is the chosen one, so the twins have to go. Liam is next, all they have to say is "Be fair, Liam already has a hundred grand.

Although i get what your saying about previous series of BB, I don't agree with Brian being BB's Favourite at all at this point, i'm not saying he isn't either, but one of the twin could have been equally BB's favourite to win BB8, but Brian was standing in their way, think about it before this for every bad point of being counted as one there was an equal good reason to be counted as one. We are not talking about one really liked twin & one hated twin here, they both have a very good, strong & loyal fan base, before their fan base votes would have been split, being more fare to the house mate they would be up against. As soon as the twins are up their fans will vote in force regardless of which twin is their favourite, 2 - 1 i just don't see anyone else standing a chance.

I did not say that Davina said something against the twins, but she did say something about the stakes being higher, which could suggest an extra eviction.
