I suppose you have them when you come back to school in September but me that's different because next year I go to Uni so we must have the results in July to finish the registration. It's a national exam anyway, the Baccalaureate.

At school there is a little side alley thing where there is a greenhouse thingy and in the green house was a somerfield trolley (dont know why). Anyway we wheeled the trolly out and we took it in turns to get inside the trolley and someone who run and push us and spin in circles while we were inside lmao it was sooo fun! But then the assistant head come out and he caught me inside it and i thought i was in trouble but he said if we would like to bring it out into the playground then we were welcome to lool that was soo unlike him. And then the caretaker come and took it away from us all lol so we decided to sunbathe instead :laugh2: x

I get my results as I do my course, because im doing a National Diploma BTEC.
At the end of each assignment we get a report back telling us what we got in what, it helps us know what we have to improve in the next assignment to acheive the best grade we can.
Im predicted a D,D,D at the end of my course.

Which is the equivalent to 3 A*'s (Cant you just tell i love what i do)

I think France is one of the few countries to have that counting system. If you get 0/10 you are rubbish, 10/20 you are average and 20/20 you are excellent. :hugesmile:

Yeah like A, B, C, D.... I think it would disturb me because 2 people can have a A but the level wasn't exactly the same unlike the French system which you can use all the marks from 0 to 20.

Same with me, well 2 BTEC's and 1 A-Level. I prefer BTEC's for that reason, especially as I can get D's in both which is equivalent to an A and 240 UCAS points all together ... and a lot of uni's are accepting BTEC's now too.

I just need to hope for a good mark in Psychology then I should be okay with my ICT and Sport Studies BTEC.

I don't get how BTEC's work. Is an A not the highest (with the talk of getting a D and it being an equivalent to an A at A level)?

Psychology is easy anyway, you should have passed that easily, unless you never did the very easy OCR course :tongue:.

D = Distinction, not a 'D' grade. Distinction is equivalent to an A, a Merit is equivalent to a C, and a Pass is equivalent to an E.

I'm looking at, and hoping for 2 distinctions, so 2 A's.

I'm doing the AQA Psychology paper ...

I got a C in my January module, but it's not lookng too good for August, because I missed too many lessons, but still did 'ok' I think. And Psychology easy?! I don't think so. :laugh:

I think I might die of happiness when I finish on friday. This year has been hell compared to the first. I didn't think the BTEC Nat Dip would be this hard, the First Diploma made everything seem easy.

The OCR one was really easy. Even thick people predicted D grades came out with A's and B's in the first year.

The BTEC course im taking, it is extremely hard to get a distinction and I spent literally all my spare time during the college year doing coursework to achieve the grade. And because Its a performing course you have to perform with near perfection every time. Its very difficult in my opinion but im still hoping for 3 Distinctions at the end of the 2 years, at the moment I know ive got 4 distinctions and 2 merits but I find out my final grades in about a month.
BTECs are so confusing! Haha, but on a simple note... if i get mostly distinctions i get D,D,D.

Yeah, we started out proper GCSE Double Award exams last year infact, but they're more important this year.
