My friend's Colombian, and he told me a lot about it.

He said the first series was hugely successful, but in the second series they made their Betty beautiful and she married their version of 'Daniel'. It went downhill from there.

I would say you can watch it on 4OD, but you can't if you are in the ROI :sad:

actualy it does i have it.but my internet connection is 1 meg so the only way i can watch it is by downloading it which takes more then an hour and i dont have the time for that.

Lindsay Lohan is in talks to star in three episodes of hit US show Ugly Betty, it has been reported.

The actress will play a fallen beauty queen who is forced to work at a fast food restaurant after falling behind with her rent.

A show insider told the New York Observer: "Betty tries to help Lindsay's character by getting her a job at Mode, the fashion magazine where she works on the show."

However, production is expected to cease on the programme after its writers joined the WGA strike earlier this week.

Stars Becki Newton, Ana Ortiz and Ashley Jensen joined a picket line on Thursday, while America Ferrera and Rebecca Romijn have also been spotted with placards.

Woo Ugly Betty is aired in France since january and I absolutey love it, it's so funny, hilarious, fresh and original. And I couldn't wait to watch series 2 then I downloaded the first 13 episodes.

So apparently it airs every thursday on ABC in America so I seriously can't wait to watch the next episodes !!

OMG! I just watched the second new episode! It is the best one ever!


Claire Meade is found not guilty for the death of Fay Summers on reason of temporary insanity.

Its all starts with Betty visiting Claire in jail. Claire gives Betty her perfume. Then Amanda decides to move all of Fay's things out of the secret sex room. On the back of one of her portraits she finds diary entries written by Fay basically saying that to cover up for a little trip she and Bradford took she told him to give her a gift such as perfume. But What Brad didn't know was that Fay had switched the real perfume with a poisened one that she had made. After Claire had used it for long periods of time, she would eventually die.

But instead of dieing, Claire went insane, which lead to her killing Fay. So Fay was responsible for her own death.

Christina agrees to be a surgot mother for Whilemina when she is offered $100,000 the exact amount she needs to pay for her husbands operation. But when the sperm goes into her it immediatly starts multipling at a massive rate.

Just finished Season 2 and I thought it was a really good season
Usually the second season of any show is poor and its obvious they don't where to go with it good example are Lost, Prison Break and Desperate Housewives. But with Ugly Betty is seemed to have a clear path which it was going to follow
The season finale was good but I think it was abit unrealistic that Alexis would let Wilhelmina get herself back into the magazine. But the season finale has really set season 3 up well
From some of the spoilers I have read it looks like season 3 will focus more on the Meade empire with a new magazine for Daniel along with Claires magazine and obviously Mode.
I also hope that Gio and Henry have gone for season 3, which has been rumored along with a new love interest for Betty.
Can't wait for season 3 now, its been set up well

From some of the spoilers I have read it looks like season 3 will focus more on the Meade empire with a new magazine for Daniel along with Claires magazine and obviously Mode.
I also hope that Gio and Henry have gone for season 3, which has been rumored along with a new love interest for Betty.

I think Betty will choose Henry because the actor that plays Henry has been confirmed to return for season three. With out Betty, Henry really has no purpose there but Gio has his sandwich shop and delivers to Mode so he has a purpose for staying there! Also going to Rome for a month would mean that Betty could still come back and worl for Mode, going to live in Vermount would eliminate all characters besides Henry and Charley.

I don't want any love interest for Betty in season 3 because it spoilt her character for me in season 2.
I want funny Betty back rather than emotional worrying Betty because of her love interests we saw in season 2

Lindsay Lohan looks like every burger-buyers dream as she films a guest appearance on hit U.S. show Ugly Betty yesterday in Queens, New York.

The Mean Girls actress, 22, will film five episodes as Kimberly, Betty's High School nemesis.

Lilo was glowing in her natty Flushing Burgers top, left, while actress America Ferrera as Betty sported her trademark bad hair and garish clothes.

Ugly Betty will be back on Channel 4 this September, after a mid-season hiatus due to the writers' strike in America.

Lohan's girlfriend, Mark Ronson's DJ sister Samantha, 30, is also in New York and has visited Lilo on the set.

Some updates:

Ugly Betty returns to Channel 4 on the 5th of September, when the rest of the season 2 episodes will play out. (This is also the night of the Big Brother final.)

The third season premieres in the US on September 25th. It is unknown whether C4 will air the third season straight after the second ends, however if last year is anything to go by I'd say it's likely.

I think they will
C4 have said they want to air US shows as soon as possible to the US air date.
I think both the next seasons on Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty will launch straight after the current ones. Well I hope they do because thats 2 less shows I will have to download.
